Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 11 Dec 2021, 06:38

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 23 degrees. Two degrees warmer than this day last year according to my diary.

Our lady wot does is coming this morning instead of yesterday so I'm getting out of here...she really does talk the hind legs off a donkey!
I know that's normal for a Spaniard but she really excels!

I'll time my walk to coincide 'meeting' at the gate when she's leaving.

Conor's coming over this afternoon and the four of us are going out for a beer and a bite to eat.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy start, although we're supposed to have a lovely, warm week-end 8-)

Hope to get out in the garden this morning, to tidy up some over-grown stuff and stick a couple of cuttings in, see if they take. Put in garden and water every day for a week and like magic, they grow :D

If the sun does come out, we«ll pop down to the bar this afternoon, for a pre curry beer or three.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Just had our SW meeting, not too bad a result considering we hadn’t been since before the wedding  ;) :D Now having brunch at Corretto’s, with B, and Fraggle in his pope-mobile    Dropped H at work on the way. Up to see D afterwards, hopefully she’s continuing to improve.

Have a good day everyone, stay warm as it’s freezing cold here! xxxx

Afternoon all, we went out quite early to go to Michael’s match, sadly they were beaten 2-0  I had a message from Miss Osc before we went asking where would be the nearest place to buy ribbon - the children made tree ornaments on the storm days last week and she needed ribbons to finish them off. Being a wonderful mother and brilliant granny ( ) I was able to offer my ribbon box as I always hold on to ribbons from presents to be reused. So we dropped that to their house first, then went on to the football. It was dank and cold pitchside but we were well wrapped up. After that, we headed off to Edward’s sister’s new apartment where Edward was going to do some diy for them. We had a cuppa with cake and chat with them and are now back home, settling in for the evening.

Good afternoon everybody,

Went ot one of the clinics as a volinteer this morning.
Got an email late on Thursday tom say they wanted volunteers. So I was up early and got there at 8.30a.m. There was a steady stream of people
coming mainly for the booster vaccination. One man brought his two children who also were vaccinated.
After getting home I had lunch and then snoozed watching TV.

I am now preparing my eveneing meal. Roast potatoes, sprouts and a bg sausage. I got it from a butchers who makes his own.
They are very good.
