My worst nightmare

Postby JanB » 16 Feb 2022, 12:38

I've just found out that the land to our left, which has been on the market for the last 5 years has been sold.

To Brian and Lesley, next door

We'll be surrounded

Jan, is that the wooded are at the end of their track or the bit adjacent to your boundary fence with your compost heap, veg patch and ruin?

I hope it's the former.

Doesn't sound good.
Can you arrange for them to be re-patriated or something?

Oh blimey. I agree, try and find out what gets someone deported from Portugal then you and all your mates accuse them of it!

It's the land by our ruin WM.

Over here, by law, once an offer has been made, the neighbours can also make an offer and it's up to the seller to decide who gets it, so we could gazump them

It's something that I've said to Grumpy many times,we should buy it, but they wanted 65,000 for a piece of land we don't really want or need.

Just annoying who bought it.

According to Sue, who is selling it, they want the land for pasture and might build a guesthouse on it. I've already told her she's off my Christmas card list

More animals, hopefully not pigs
