Chinese takeaway tonight and Don needs to choose a film for us to watch.

Blue sky but it is cold. Going shopping and then tidying the garage so that the electrician and gas fiter can run the new cable and gas pipe
to the new boiler. They will have to come through the garage into the roof space above the extension.

It's a dry day here, but dull - hopefully it might brighten up later No meeting this morning, B has a headache and I won't bother without her. Out for some brunch later, after M drops Harry at work. Round to D's after that, Mick is going to try getting her new microwave going It arrived during the week, M got it out of the box and onto the worktop, and plugged in, but neither D nor I can make sense of the instructions since

Morning all, beautiful blue skies here, although cold, it does feel as Spring might arrive. In the midst of all the awfulness, Edward’s nephew proposed to his girlfriend at the Trevi Fountain in Rome yesterday, such lovely news. This young man’s father is the BIL with cancer, so hopefully that news has brightened up their life. I had a lovely lunch with my two friends yesterday, so good to have big hugs after more than two years. I posted a photo to our school friends WhatsApp group, and another pal immediately phoned from Florida so we were all able to chat to her - the internet can be wonderful. Right, we are going for a bit of a walk as it is such a nice day.

Good luck with the microwave Kaz, some manufacturers make thing too difficult to use.
Congratulations to the engaged couple Osc. I agree the internet is wonderful, it helps to keep families far and wide in touch.
