Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 14 Mar 2022, 07:15

Good morning.

We have rain. :cute:

Beautiful, wet wonderful rain. :cute:

It began at 11 last night and is forecast till 11 this morning.
As it's the first proper wet stuff since last April it is very, very welcome. :D
It feels quite tropical as it's warm.

No walk this morning, I might do one this afternoon. If I can be bothered.

A nice day at home reading my new Lynda la Plante. :D

Have a great day.

Lots of vibes for H, Kaz. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and rain expected this afternoon.

Enjoy your rain Ally :Hi:

Good luck to H this morning x

Hope your sister is doing well Kaz xx

Not a lot going on here again. No point doing any washing, it will be hanging around all week

Will try and find something to do. As much as I enjoy sitting reading, there is only so much of it, day by day, you can do

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s wet here too, which is not the novelty it is with Ally. Today I have my annual check up with the consultant, it will be two years on Friday since my breast cancer surgery. With all that has happened since, it is as if that was in another lifetime. After that, I’ll head to my favourite shopping centre to get a few bits and pieces that I can’t get locally. Better get moving as I have stuff to do before I go out.

Hope your appointment goes well Osc, amazing how time flies, E will be 9yrs clear this coming August.

Hello everyone, just gone midday so can't even say good morning - oops :D

Osc, hope the appointment goes / went well ((hugs)).
Ally , enjoy that rain, did it last through to 11am your time? Hopefully yes and longer ;-)
Jen, enjoy the afternoon chilling and watching telly
Saundra, have fun in the garden. I did some pootling yesterday - there is so much that needs to be done I'm not even sure where to start, but trying to do it without two fully functioning hands isn't the easiest so I just did some easy bits like pulling weeds
Jan, have you ever thought of taking up a different hobby? Painting or crafting? You don't have to be a Picasso as long as you have fun

Well, the start of another week; the weekend flew by again. I got up half an hour earlier than normal this morning and walked over to the allotment to pick up something I needed. Such a lovely morning for it so I'll do it again tomorrow and hopefully get into a routine of a daily walk before work (well the days I'm working from home that is). A usual mix of work and pootling. Have to laugh though - a US colleague is coming to the UK for a two month work stint here and I've been asked to help find temporary accommodation for him and the family. Now he lives MidWest in the US so not expensive - he's going to have an absolute heart attack when he sees the rental prices for places in London - bless

Have a lovely day all x

It lasted till noon Ria and as I type just after 1pm the sun is out and I'm watching the ground drying before my eyes.

Don needs to go to the post office so we're going out for some lunch too. :)

I've cleaned the oven

Stripped the chickens down and then needed to get rid of the rubbish, so that means taking the car out  So went for a coffee and had a traffic jam - Alentejo style.

Sheep

No rain here yet, but it's on it's way :D

Not my thing at all Ria, not a crafty type person. Can just about sew a button on  Friends have tried, over the years, to get me into embroidery, knitting or something, but much prefer being outside, even if it's only for a walk.

Good afternoon everybody.

It has been cloudy all day and there has been a few drops of rain. Went to Argos and some other shopping this morning. Have finished
tiding the garage. Will have to go to the dump with rubbish such as bits of timber I nolonger need.
Ria, Have you had a letter about bird flu from the Goverment? I know you have said you have hens. If every house is getting one,
it is an expensive exercise.
