Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 21 Mar 2022, 07:13

Good morning.

Just as the three of us got home last night the heavens opened and we had the most spectacular lightning show. :D

Woken up to bright sunshine but more rain forecast for early evening. :Hi:

I'm away for a walk then going to enjoy being in Jacob's company. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rain. Lots of it :Hi: :Hi:

I'll do the ironing this morning and that's about it for me.

I've taken some leftovers out of the freezer, so that's dinner sorted  I need to make some space for the broad beans and peas, which we'll be picking soon :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning everyone

A weekend of minimal tech (ie no logging on to my laptop) meant no VV posts - sorry.

Ally enjoy the day with Jacob. Glad you got the rain - and lightening storms are amazing aren't they (provided they're not too loud and too close :D)? I remember back in SA before any storm my mom would go round the house and unplug everything and then sat on a chair that was tucked in a corner and blocked her ears, dog cowering under her. She always said she was so grateful that we were older and she didn't have to hide her fear of thunderstorms anymore - bless her.

Jan, hope you have a good day whatever it is you are / aren't doing :D

Well another usual / usual for me. Got quite a bit of tidying done in the garden and the lawns has their first mow and everything looks so much neater. Need to get going in the greenhouse now, a bit late for some seeds, but hoping they'll catch up.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :)

Really glad you’re getting some rain Ally :Hi: Enjoy having Jacob around 8-) :) xx

Rain for you too, Jan? Brilliant :Hi: xx

Oh your poor mum, Ria! Personally I really enjoy the energy of a storm, but I know lots of people are terrified :( I hope your seeds catch up :) xx

It’s much chillier here today, and no sun. Still, at least it’s dry 8-) Just finished some tidying up and vacuuming and am about to put on a wash load. Meeting Em in town later, and will most likely go to Zumba tonight :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, cloudy, breezy and much cooler here today. I have towels on the line, the blow around will be good for them. I need to go to the post office, also buy some milk and pop into the chemist to top up on paracetamol and nurofen. Not much planned for the day, might swish a duster around. I’m struggling with a jigsaw at the moment, far too much sky in the picture! I could also read or do some crochet.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Must admit I love a lightening show Ally.
It's nearly always left over's here on a Monday Jan. Left over chicken with the leftover veggies used to make bubble and squeak.

Not much happening here, expecting a Tesco delivery later, might get out in the garden afterwards.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all.
MrsC, her sis and our daughter have gone to Leeds for a girls dinner out and some serious shopping.
So I am wondering how to use my freedom, maybe go out myself for a bite to eat.
Another nice day here but with a sneaky chill wind.
Have a good one everybody.

The rain stopped, so we took advantage of it and went for a coffee and to take the recycling down.

Jose wanted to know about yesterdays fire - where, how, what

We've left the car outside, in the hope that the next lot of rain will clean it off

Grumpy is now trying to fix my bamboo wind chime, which got blow off and into bits in the hooley yesterday.
