Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 22 Mar 2022, 06:20

Good morning.

Yesterday was a beautiful day with the forecast evening showers being a no show.

However, I can see wetness round the patio furniture so it must have rained overnight. How convenient.

Showers predicted today from 4pm. Fingers crossed.

I'm off for my walk shortly. :D

Haircut at noon... how quickly these 4 week appointments zoom round!

Jacob's ordered an exercise bike from Decathlon and has a 4.55pm  slot to collect it so we'll do that together. I like their running gear so no doubt a purchase will be made.

GB Menu tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun, cloud and mist this morning. No blue sky and rain forecast from this afternoon :Hi:

Off to Ourique soon, Aldi, Pingo, chemist and post office to sign for something. No idea what.

Going in a day early as it will be chaos whenever we go in, due to the pig fair starting later this week. It was cancelled for the last two years, so they've gone big this year. Three days and nights of music, eating and drinking. And rain  it always rains  We'll be steering clear. Will be watching the infection rate shoot up over the next few weeks

Back for breakfast and then not a lot.

Too wet to do anything outside, inside is all done

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning both.
A pig fair Jan?
Yes Ally, always convenient when it rains at night.
It is a lovely morning here and warmer than yesterday; in a while I'll go for a paper.
MrsC is off to see her Auntie Violet this afternoon, I want to try and look at some furniture.
Had a nice night at the gun club last night. Nobody did any shooting, we were just sat around calling (hard "K" sound, it's a local word for gossiping) about motorbikes and cars. We had a right laugh, which is always good.
Have a lovely day all.

Morning all, it’s a lovely day here. Edward is out on the terrace pruning and tidying. I have a wash in the machine which I will get out on the line as soon as it is ready. Then I’ll just see where the day takes me.

Ourique is the porco preto capital Crommers. Black pork and gert lush it is too.

This is a celebration of all things black pork, stalls selling bits of pig  sausages, cured, dried and anything else they can think of  Nothing gets wasted here ;)

Lovely morning now, so I'm going to have a wander around the garden, with my trusty fork and dig up nasty weeds.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

E and I will be stirring ourselves for a good tidy up session in the garden shortly. No doubt we'll be absolutely shattered in an hour or so, what with my very painful ankle and his hip, but it really needs doing. Expect we'll collapse for the rest of the day

Hope you all have a good day xx
