Postby Ally » 02 May 2022, 06:39

Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

As the bank holiday fell on a Sunday today is officially a bridging holiday.

Going for a walk with Don to Guadalmar...by the coast so hopefully cool.

We'll pop out for a spot of lunch later.

Picking Jacob up at the airport at 11 tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Clouds, sun and wind this morning, with a chance of a thunderstorm too :Hi:

Which means that the washing may or may not go out, the spraying of weeds may or may not get done today. Or tomorrow, as we're forecast one then too

So a day of winging it

At least I can get some weeding done, bedding changed.

Hope E continues his recovery well x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a dull one here.

We’re taking Bill for a short walk in a minute. He’s on very restricted exercise for another week or so yet so we’re only walking him around the block but he keeps digging his paws in to go in the direction of the common. I need to go to Aldi after that.

This afternoon I’ll work on the blanket I’m crocheting for one of the baby great nieces in Wales. I want to get it finished for John to take at the weekend. Not sure why I’m bothering because they’ve not thanked us for the presents we sent when she was born before Christmas, and I made a blanket for the other new great niece who was born in January and her parents haven’t acknowledged that either. Those two couples are totally different to the other nephew and his wife.

Off to Manchester with Joe late afternoon, last home game of the season. I’ll be counting the days until August, I hate it when there’s no football. We’re talking about going for a stadium tour during the Summer though and taking Amanda with us :D

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s a dull one here but dry at least. I had towels out on the line overnight but I suspect they will be coming in and going in the dryer. A bank holiday here also, and we’re going dancing this afternoon. I’ve a few bits and pieces to do, including measuring a dress against another to see how much it needs to be taken up, so I can drop it in to an alterations place tomorrow.

Jo, I’ll be so glad when the footie season ends! The amount of shouting/swearing/cushion throwing I’ve had to endure recently is wearing me out

Good afternoon.
Dull here but warmer than yesterday thank God.
MrsC is at our daughters. I've been for the paper and some shopping (and forgotten some bits, oops).
Jo, my attitude to the end of the season depends on if Leeds stay up or not! Looking at the run in it doesn't look good.
Not much on this afternoon, have a good one.

Morning all :D

Still dull, but a bit better than yesterday.

E's walk went well yesterday, he got right down to the end of our road, think he'll be doing a full circuit by the end of the week. I plan to get some veggies on this morning so we can still have bubble and squeak for dinner this evening. Not much else happening, expecting a Tesco delivery in an hour or so.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Rain? What rain

We had rumbles of thunder most of the day and some very dark clouds and a lot of wind, but that was it.

And it was a very cold north wind, so nothing got done outside, apart from me watering the new plants I put in yesterday and watering the potted plants.

And a power cut, twice, which was a pain, as we have to sort out the cooker clock and I can never do it
