Nudging 30° so summer is rapidly approaching.

It's three years today mum died. The time has gone so quickly and I still miss her so terribly much. X

Don told me last night we're going to Nerja today and he's booked us a hotel for tonight.

A couple of days in one of my favourite places will be lovely.

The Masterchef final is on tonight so I'll have to do a Likely Lads scenario until I get home tomorrow evening.

Busy morning for me. Pile of ironing to get through, then making favas and also the last curry before the heat really hits us, for Saturday. Grumpy not impressed I might make a couple next week and then freeze them for him.

He's being pool boy this morning and we hope to get outside and strim down the drive this afternoon.

Munching on the local honey, as hayfever has really hit us both. The wild flowers are gorgeous, the colours are stunning, but making us both sneeze, wheeze and have runny eyes

Daughter, son in law and the child Eliza have flown off to Cyprus this morning. MrsC has been in touch and apparently Manchester airport was "bedlam ".
They have left Dobby the barmy Cockapoo with Lee's mum and dad. Dobby has already distinguished himself by chasing a squirrel around Kev and Val's garden- and into the house. MrsC has been sent a video of the squirrel climbing the curtains and knocking ornaments over.
Off to get some washing from daughters house now.

Hello all and good morning

yet again my apologies for not posting much. I didn't log on over the long weekend as that just means work to me and using my phone to type longer messages just drives me mad because the combination of impatience and fat fingers. And then it's been fairly busy at work and I've been going in quite a bit... so here we are. And the next two weeks are going to be super busy as well as we have a fluffy of visitors from our US office coming over. Come the week of the 23rd I'll be shattered

Will try and catch up with everyone's posts but hope everyone is keeping well xxxx

I'm off to the hairdresser at 1.15, she's working from the salon in town permanently now. I did think of getting the bus, but it will be quicker and less walking if I take the car.

Afternoon all, it’s mostly cloudy here but warmish. We’ve been to dance practice this morning, and are now waiting for Michael and Kellie to arrive from school. We heard today that our travel insurance is refunding our flights and hotel for our cancelled trip last month, which is good. Also we got the travel documents for our (hopefully) upcoming June cruise, I’ll have a good look at them tonight.
