Toasty hot in Nerja.

A treat of a full English breakfast and once we've checked out of the hotel we'll go for a long walk on the beach.

An ice cream, a mooch in the little shops then we'll head home.

First thing I'll do is watch last night's Masterchef final.

Friday beers and tapas tonight.

Cleaning for me this morning and Grumpy will be strimming the drive early. If there is any petrol left, I'll do the banks, just to tidy them up. Seems ashame to get rid of all the wildflowers, but they're getting rather large now

I love going out for a nice cooked brekkie Ally, it doesn't happen often, we're rarely up early enough.

I'm off to Canterbury Hospital for a 1.30pm appointment with orthotics, keeping fingers tightly crossed they can help. Too soon for E to be sitting in the car for that amount of time. Was having a general chat with our lovely neighbours and mentioned it will the furthest I've driven for quite some time and Dave very kindly offered to take me, I was so relieved. Must admit I feel such a fraud, I used to happily to drive anywhere, but these days I get very nervous going anywhere on my own unless it's a short local trip.

Good morning everybody.

It is warm but there are grey skies and rain is forecast. Have been shopping. Will relax this afternoon as I am having visitors this evening.
I don't like driving now. But need to when I go to the supermarket and other places which are not on bus routes o9r in the centre
of town such as B & Q.
Jen, I hope the visit to the hospital is successful. It is good to have friendly neighbours.

Afternoon everyone

A bit of upset here this morning, as B's skink, Noodle, died in the night. Apparently he was fine last night, but lifeless first thing. No more reptiles for pets in this house, they are too high maintenance IMO She's taken him to work, to see if one of the vets can say what happened, and then for cremation.

I've been into town to get us some currency for the holiday, and Mick some new sliders from TK Maxx. Mick has been to the dentist (will post on Health later) and is taking the Zafira for new tyres later this afternoon.
