Plasticine used to come in a rainbow strip with black and white. Within a few days they had all been mushed together to produce a brownish grey; those were the days.

Grey was the colour - no magnolia in them days.

My parents calculated the complete mayhem I could create with a substance such as plasticine and made sure it never appeared in my Christmas presents, from anyone. The bigger problem they had with me was stopping me from taking stuff apart....
