It's Don's birthday today. I'm on breakfast duty and Sir has requested bacon rolls.

We'll go out later to Gambrinus....extra large parasol and table have been booked.

Not doing a lot today, apart from the pool. Much too hot. Although I am doing the prep for tomorrow's dinner, so it can marinade overnight. Takes about 10 minutes to cook, so no worries.

Good morning everybody.

It is cloudy and there is a wind so it is not as warm as yesterday.
Been to town for some shopping. On the bus was talking to a lady who I first met when she was a cadet nurse.
In Boots met another lady who had come back to Wigan to put her house up for sale. She isliving near Brighton with her daughter and family.
She used to be a hairdresser and did my wife's hair.
May do some gardening this afternoon if it doesn't rain.

We're planning to drive over to the King George steps and take a walk along the promenade. It went quite well last time, just hoping my ankle doesn't play up too much and the wind isn't too strong. We'll stop at the pavilion before attempting the walk back.

It’s been a busy morning, Joe and Amanda have gone off to Snowdonia for a camping weekend so all of the camping equipment has had to be sorted out this morning. Me, John and Joe then walked Bill before Joe left to pick up Manda and carry on to Wales. I’ve been for a hair cut too, while I was there John popped to Argos to get a new mobile for my Mom. We’ve got to take it around shortly and set it up. Thoughts and prayers for my sanity are needed, they’ve not adopted technology at all so it’ll be a challenge to explain how it works. It’s only a basic flip phone suited to the elderly apparently but still
