We are going on holiday to the Dominican Republic in October. Last week BA cancelled our flights. As we are booked with TuI, our daughter, who is arranging it all, spent hours on the phone getting through. However, eventually, we're booked on a TuI flight instead.
It is £800 cheaper! We're staying at the Gatwick Hilton before we fly and we're staying there the night after we arrive back. That is now all paid by the price reduction.
So long as the TuI flight isn't cancelled I'd call that a result.
