Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 07 Jul 2022, 04:41

Good morning.

Absolutely glorious sunshine. 8-)

I'm away for a run shortly. There's a lovely park right on the doorstep. :D

Off into Glasgow for the day to meet up with a dear friend Anne.
Her and her sister Lynn were mine and my sister's childhood friends right up until we left high school. Even though we went our separate ways we never lost touch as both sets of parents were friends too.

The funny thing is on this date 7/7/77 Anne and I were on a school trip to Germany and I sent my mum and dad a postcard so's I could write these numbers down (I'm also a number nerdy Norma  ) and I now have that very postcard in my possession as I found it when clearing dad's house.

I won't get back till late so will pick up a takeaway pizza on the way home.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Rather warm 8-) And will be this way for the next week, at least 8-)

Enjoy your day Ally xx

Not a lot going on here. I'll be chatting to a friend in England this morning, via messenger, and apart from being in/on the pool, that's about it. We'll be living on salad for the next wee, might even lose some weight

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, summer seems to have finally arrived in Dublin 8-) Bedding is on the clothes line, and I need to clean the bathrooms. Collecting Kellie from soccer camp at 1pm, Michael may go off with his pals and come here later, we’ll see. Edward is pottering about up in his attic workshop. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here

Glad we had a nice walk yesterday. It's shopping for us today, we don't need much, just a few bits from M&S. Intend to be extremely lazy this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon all.
Nice day here if a bit breezy.
MrsC has got conjunctivitis, we have been to the chemist where she was examined by a very nice pharmacist. We now have some eye drops.
This afternoon we'll have a little stroll after we have baked some bread and that's about it.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

This will be short and sweet, as since getting home from Sainsbury's I've been out in the garden, and have managed to slice the top of my right index finger  :cute: We don't have any suitable plasters, so Mick has popped out for some while I am pressing on it tight with some tissue. Tapping this out v. slowly with my left hand

Love to everyone xxxx

Ouch Kaz, hope he gets back soon xx

Done 60 lengths of the pool, had a laze on the lilo - it's much bigger than my last one - washing machine on to wash the pool towels. The wind has picked up, so they'll soon dry.

I've managed to keep the house cool, but heaven knows how long that will last as the night time temperatures for the next 10 days are around 20C  Half of what we'll be getting during the day

Grumpy dead chuffed, as he's lost a kilo since I started cutting down on the portion sizes and he's swimming most days.
