Both Luton and Stanstead airports are having 'snow issues' according to BBC Breakfast, but no mention of Birmingham Ally I wonder if Mick's boss got away from Glasgow airport ok this morning or Mick might be on his way to a meeting with Mr Nobody

Don't think there's snow in Brum..I was just referring to getting away from the cold.

2 years ago right now I was stranded in a hotel in Glasgow when it was that dreadful thick snow.

Since snow was forecast over the weekend we have been bathed in wall-to-wall sunshine here in Leeds.

Today is no exception, not a cloud to be seen. The nights have been cold and frosty - deep frosts - but the days have been super.

We had some snow this morning. It started just as I was leaving the house and by the time I drove off (10 mins) we had just a fine layer of it everywhere. Not sure how much there eventually was before it stopped but I suspect we got about 1/2 inch if that much.

We've had alternate snow and heavy rain for the last 4 or 5 days here. Today it's sleet, but due to be back to snow again tonight and tomorrow.

Home is due some snow over the weekend and cold nights.

Nice to get a bit of winter. Stockholm is under a category 2 snow storm warning. Typical that the interesting weather arrives after I've left.

Here we have a clear bly sky, sunshine but very, very icy footpaths and side roads

Lissie - where I live, we call that a "dusting". It's snow, but can be brushed away with a broom.
I remember listening to the radio and the DJ was talking about the record snow on this day - which
was about 15 years ago - where we got 17 inches of it! Needless to say, we were digging out for
days afterward.

I wouldn't mind a little snow before Christmas, but not that much. Good luck with yours!
