Warm already and is only getting hotter

Off to Beja this morning, as Grumpy is having an mri scan. Air con will be on And no bacon butties, as is normal for breakfast on my birthday. Can't eat too early, so will have to give them a miss


Will dap into Lidl on the way back, as it's there and see what they have to offer.

Back for the pool and the lilo. Out for dinner tonight.

Spain very kindly has lent us a couple of planes to fight the fires up north. Last time I looked, we had 25 aircraft fighting the forest fires - all of them up north. Scary.

Morning all, it’s a nice day here, hazy sunshine and lovely and warm (17c according to my app, that’s warm here!). General tidying up done, Edward has gone to golf and I’ll be off to the gym shortly. No plan for later, but it might involve sitting outside reading for a while I’ve made an appointment to have my eyes tested this week, they haven’t been done since 2019 and I have noticed a deterioration in one eye.

It is getting hot. May have a few minutes outside this afternoon. Will have plenty of sun cream on.
Have been to the bank and for some shopping and then to the chemist to pick up a prescription.

31c forecast for today, I think it's nearly that now.
MrsC and her sis are at our son's house tidying up.
I have been to Sainsburys to get some salad things for tea. Much too hot to be cooking today I think.
Our daughter has become interested in our family tree so I have been deputed to dig out the one done by my late mother. It's in the house somewhere, but exactly where is a mystery.
Way too hot for Zumba, Kaz!
