Mist lingering and once that goes, we're in for another warm day

Washing out, in hope the sun does soon Not sure what else we're going to do today. Steve might come up to help sort out some electrics, but it's really too hot to be outside for long, so probably not.

Might do a bit of indoor gardening, thin out the cuttings I've taken and who are thriving, but need more space.

Pool and the Games will also feature today. Must say though, that the coverage is dire. Far too many bods spend far too much time just talking.

BBQ later, being very, very careful. We'll move it to the front, where there is a lot of gravel, so should be okay.

Then will finish packing and tidy the house.
Will be having an early night as the taxi is picking me up at 6.00 a.m.

Morning all

Up at silly o'clock, not sure what time Z,M and the boys will arrive, but it wouldn't do for them to find us in a state of undress

We'll all be going down to the harbour for lunch at The Pavilion. E and I will do it our way and they'll do their thing down on the beach. That way they don't have to dawdle with us and we can take our time. We haven't seen them since April, seems ages ago, really looking forward to a chat with my lovely but not so little boys.

Been trying to report an abandoned car outside my door. It has been there for three weeks and nobody knows who owns it. It has tax, insurance and MOT till November. The police say it has not been involved in a crime or reported stolen. Getting in touch with the council only leads to 'press this, press that' then a recorded message. I eventually found an email but it could take six months for any action to be taken.

How difficult would it be to speak to someone who could log the details and have done with it?

Morning all, it’s sunny and quite muggy.

Bill had an early walk, he chose the woods today. I never know where we’re heading, once we’re through the gate onto the common behind us I let him off his lead and just follow

The washing machine’s on, the window cleaner’s due today so I’m hoping he’s earlyish so I can get the washing on the line. It’s a bit awkward having the line across the garden when he’s trying to manoeuvre the window poles up.

I need to have a think about furniture today, I already bought a work table for my sewing machine and some storage all for in Tom’s old room from Ikea on Tuesday but I think I can add some more storage.
I’m fed up of measuring things though, we decided to order some plantation shutters for the windows on the front of the house so I had to very carefully measure seven windows, then measure them again to be certain. And again to be double certain. Put the order through and wait for a phone call from company which makes them to talk through the order and measurements before confirming by email. Now to wait up to 13 weeks for them to be made and delivered!

Morning all it's a beautiful day
Well yesterday did not go as planned sigh
Regarding the huge tv
It's one of the smart android tv
J connected it to the internet then was lost
Because I have a sky box that my tv runs through ???
So he went home in a not good mood
So the tv is just hanging around not doing anything
So neighbour is coming in to see if he can sort it
wm I had an abandoned car out side my house once it was falling to pieces I got my mp involved and told health dept it has rats in it it did take ages to move tho

I-m going to try and contact SEPNA, who are part of the police, but the forestry bods. I have had no luck at all getting any answer from ICNF and Jose Felipe suggested them. They might not be bothered, but at least I can say I tried. His mobile home arrived yesterday A rather cheap and nasty looking thing.

Aw, thanks very much for the birthday wishes for B! Can't believe she's 27! Well finally I am completely negative, although still a bit washed out! I've been shopping with D, and have run out of steam now so the ironing can wait B had her birthday night out last Saturday, and is out again on Monday with other friends. We're having a quiet meal in tonight.
