Morning all :D

Hot, hot hot 8-)

How annoying about the dogs baking Jan, your neighbour is constant trouble.
Enjoy the beach Osc.
Hope you feel better soon Kaz, Z took quite a few weeks to get over Covid xx
Sorry you had a bad night Saundra and WM.
Good luck at the vet Ria.
Have a good time in Whitby Crommers.
Enjoy the cinema Jo, hope the aircon's working.

No walk today, it's Thursday so we're off to Westwood Cross in the next hour or so. Picking up an order from M&S plus stocking up with salad, it's definitely going to be too hot to cook this weekend. Also need a few bits from Boots. Expect we'll relax in the garden this afternoon.

Stay cool and have a good day xx

Jan, I'm so sorry this is happening - what a horrid situation. Is he allowed to just plonk a bunch of mobile homes onto the land for holiday lets - doesn't that make it commercial land then? what about access to electricity / water / sewage?

((big hugs)) - just wish there was an easy solution

He has to have planning permission and given that it's for tourism, he gets it.

For services, he can have an above ground fossa - as in dig a hole and put it in. The town hall empty for about 30 euros. For water, he'll have to have a borehole and it's unlikely he'll get a licence for that as there would be too many houses in the area all drawing water from the same source.

Electric, well, he can ask permission from us, dig a trench and put the cables underground or have the cheaper above ground poles.

It beats me, why, at almost 70, he wants to have so much work. Okay, the money is good and it's only for a few weeks in the summer, but he still has all his animals to look after.

Crommers, enjoy your holiday x

Thanks Jan.
It's hell having a bad neighbour, you have all my sympathy.
In your shoes I'd do only what I had to do, and I wouldn't rush doing it either.

Jan, he's a nightmare, it's rotten luck getting him as a neighbour :( xxx

Thanks everyone for the good wishes, I am trying to pace myself. My friend Emma reckons it took her a good few weeks to feel back to normal after she had it in the spring  Mick dropped me up at D's, then Sainsbury's was beautifully cool, so shopping went fine. I have no plans for this afternoon other than my crossword, codeword, and Classic Corrie on the telly. Housework can wait 8-)
