Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 13 Aug 2022, 05:06

Good morning.

Another lovely day. 8-)

This morning Michelle and myself are off into Glasgow for a spot of rollerskating.

We've booked the 12 - 2 slot and will get the train in but I've realised Rangers are playing at home.

The local hostelry will be visited later and pizza takeaway.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Big fat grey cloud sat over our house this morning, so it's dark and rather chilly  Sun will be out this afternoon, but much cooler at 31C. I'll be lighting the fire soon

Waiting to see what this cloud will do before I do any watering. We had an enormous clap of thunder about 4.00 with five seconds of rain

Must get the cleaning done this morning.

Off down to the bar this afternoon. Dinner prepped, so I just need to cook it.

Enjoy the roller skating Ally :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s lovely again although with a little light cloud and the sun is a bit hazy. We were awake quite early and went for a walk on the pier just before 8am - it was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Yesterday evening we set out to go dancing, normally we get there in at the most 45 minutes. But the traffic was so bad on the M50 that after 45 minutes we had barely reached the first exit, with about 25 minutes to the one we wanted, so we came off at the first exit and drove home. Went for a short walk and had an icecream instead. No plan for today, lounging around generally. Miss Osc and family went to Fuertaventura this morning, their flight was 7.45am so they are well on their way.

Morning all :)

Ally I hope you and Michelle enjoy the skating :D xx

Jan, wow! I expect you could do with it though xx

Osc, sorry about your dancing :( I hope Miss Osc and family have a great holiday :) xx

Mick, Fraggle and I are out at Corretto’s - B is out with friends all day, part of a hen weekend. It’s forecast very warm again, but it’s beautiful here under the awnings, the coolest I have felt all week 8-) We’ll be round to D’s in a while, then are out tonight with Em and Dave celebrating Mick’s retirement :) We’re taking Fraggle as the place is dog friendly with loads of outside seating - ideal for this weather.

Morning all.
We've just seen a kingfisher, sitting on a rock by the river's edge.

In a while we are off to see the Red Arrows and then a Lancaster bomber is flying over, which I've never seen before.

Have a good day all.
