Quite misty earlier, but the sun is slowly burning it off. Another 30C forecast for us today, although we got to the dizzy height of 31C yesterday

Cleaning this morning, although the floors shouldn't take too long

Chicken curry to make for tomorrow

I was mozz fodder during the night, even though I'd sprayed the room before we went to bed and put anti-mozz spray on me. Annoying little blighter got me four times

The sun is out with lots of blue sky. Butit is chilly. Lots of housework today so I will hbe keeping warm.

Morning all, it’s a lovely sunny autumn morning. I have washing on the line and am going for a pedicure at 10.30. Then back to pack up our stuff ready for our weekend away. Tomorrow night is black tie, and Kellie was very impressed yesterday with Edward’s tux and my dress. I had a great together with “the girls” yesterday, the waitress couldn’t believe we had been friends for over 65 years, I suppose when you are that young, it’s inconceivable that anyone could be friends that long! I’m getting a manicure at 6pm when everything is done to reduce the risk of smudging.

Overcast and dull, rain's forecast for most of the day, it's getting very dark out there

When I was young, getting old seemed forever away Osc. Sadly it creeps up on you unawares, I often think we just woke up one morning and realised we are old, almost like it happened overnight

Usual washing and bed change for me, these Fridays seem to come round so fast Expecting a Sainsbury's deliver later this afternoon, also waiting for a Lakeland parcel.

The house is ready for the family, all I need now are the keys for where we're staying and I can get that sorted.

It's rather warm now and although the pool beckons, Grumpy forgot I was going in this afternoon and put some stuff in so best to wait until tomorrow.

Evening everyone

Sorry to be tardy, but we've been out since about 10, and not long got home We took Fraggle for a walk around the Docks, stopped for a cuppa, I nipped up into town from there to collect a perceptive from M&S ( new cardigan) then back into the Quays to meet M and F again. We spent lunchtime with D, watched the news, and as much of Dickinson's Real Deal as we could stand then called in to see my friend J who has a new phone, and as she isn't at all techie needed some tech help from Mick

Got home about half an hour ago, via Sainsbury's as I forgot something yesterday Hoping for a quit evening
