A wonderful book, and a cracking film too
Fluffy reading for me this month - A Lady’s Guide to Fortune Hunting: A Novel by Sophie Irwin. It’s a Regency novel, along the lines of Georgette Heyer. Fun read so far
I am also working my way through the Coronation Street novels, based on the soap of course, but set during WW II
The first one was about a very young Elsie Tanner, and the second one is next on my list. There are five altogether, written by Maggie Sullivan.
