Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 09 Oct 2022, 06:35

Good morning.

Another hot sunny day. 8-)

Going for my walk then I'll have a swim when I get back.

We went out last night for drinks then a Chinese meal so didn't watch SCD. That pleasure will be mine this afternoon whilst Don has his footy fest.

SCD results tonight, Frozen Planet and Bloodlands. Perfect. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool at the moment, but another 31C day later. And will be for another week

As we're both on the poorly list, a cooked breakfast for us. Think it's the last of the bacon, so that means a trip down to the Algarve sometime. Either me with Jan or us two. As we need another tv - ours is about 15 years old and the sound disappears  - think us two is best. We'll look into it during the week. Also need a tv for the bedroom.

Dear me, my pension is well and truly being spent

Will make us the two spare beds this morning and might head out and do some weeding.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s fairly dull here with rain forecast for later. I have put on a jeans wash but will wait until tomorrow to hang them out. We are going dancing this afternoon, and on the way will pop into Power City to buy a new iron. The one we have now is almost seven years old and has been acting up for a while. It needs coaxing into heating up, I’ve tried all the troubleshooting tips and nothing works. I managed to crank it up yesterday, so did all the ironing while I could. Interestingly enough, buying virtually the same model now will cost €100 less. On our way home, we will call to Miss Osc’s house for some birthday cake - it is Kellie’s birthday on Tuesday but the party is today. It’s a “pamper party” with someone coming in to do nails, put glitter in hair and put on fake tattoos. There will be 12 little girls getting this done, sadly we already had plans for the afternoon ;)

Morning all :)

Ally, not to spoil SCD but Tyler!!! Oh my goodness :D :D xxx

Hugs for you both ((((Jan and Grumpy)))) xx

Cruiser, why not indeed? Spoil yourself;) xxx

Osc, I hope Kellie has a great party :) My steam generator iron was a great bargain in the Sainsburys January sale - best iron I’ve ever had 8-) xx

We’re out having brunch. Need to pop to Sainsburys on the way to see D, I need milk, the newspaper and some garlic bread to go with the stew in my new slow cooker. The old one cracked so I got a new one, and am trying it out ;)

Love to all xxx

Morning all, it’s a sunny one here.

I didn’t sleep too well due to knocking my arm every time I moved, it’s so sore from the booster yesterday. I feel a bit off but that’s hopefully just from lack of sleep rather than a reaction.

John’s gone for a run, Tom’s gone into Birmingham and Joe’s still in bed. I need to pop to M&S at some point, the boots I ordered are too big so I want to return those and the smaller size has been delivered to there today. I’m hoping we’ll tidy the garage today too, it’s such a mess with loads of Tom’s boxes in there.

Pork, veg and apple sauce for lunch. Might pick up something for pudding while I’m in M&S, it’s only the food store that we’ve got here but it’s so useful for deliveries. Just a shame it’s on an out of town retail park.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Loved Strictly last night, a great show. I know who I want to go tonight, but have a feeling it won't happen.

We had a lovely walk yesterday, surprisingly too warm for coats, just perfect. A lazy day beckons, roast chicken with veg for dinner, strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
