Fancy dress

Postby cromwell » 30 Oct 2022, 19:24

I never saw the reason for fancydress when you are going out for a drink, but some people love it.

As we get towards Halloween fancy dress is appearing again. When my daughter was out in Leeds yesterday she saw one bloke dressed up as Jimmy Savile, with his two female compamions dressed up as schoolgirls.

A bit of bad taste there, I think.

I live on the edge of studentland and every weekend is a fancy dress weekend in Headingley. It is just one year-long party. The weather does not matter, either, the party must go on. There is allways a theme to be found - Halloween is nothing special.
