Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 03 Nov 2022, 06:09

Good morning.

Forecast 25° and mostly sunny. 8-)

Going for a bike ride. :D I'll do the forest trail that I'm familiar with. I daren't do a different one as my sense of direction is shocking I might get lost. It's a big forest. :lol:

Don's train leaves Madrid at 4pm so he should be back in Malaga around 7 and he'll just jump on the bus home. :D

We'll nip to our local for a couple of beers then back in time for Masterchef. :D

Have a great day.

Thinking of Jo. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy this morning and the forecasted rain has disappeared until next week. Chilly at 22C.

Get a compass Ally. We have a massive forest near us and Gez was always getting lost, until she got a compass.

Washing out in the hope of it drying :roll: :lol:

We'll put the onions in the morning and that will probably do us ;)

Thinking of Jo and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Yes, Jan does that when we go walking the dogs. Also tells us how far we've walked, calories used and heaven knows what else :roll: :lol:

She's on a long term diet, lost a lot of weight, so likes to know what she's done.

I'm the same as you, get out, enjoy the walk or cycle, get back 8-)

That's the onions done :Hi: It's a proper autumnal morning, it misty, fresh :lol: but you soon warm up.

My tummy tells me what I've done. :lol:

8km = peckish.

12 = hungry.

14 and over = I could eat a scabby horse. :lol: :lol:

Good morning you two and everyone

Ally, if you haven't yet, also download the "What Three Words" App - that way if (God forbid) you ever do get lost then someone can find you. Good to have anyway for all the jaunts you and David do; just as a safety precaution x
Jan, well done on the onions and hope it stays dry enough for the washing

Well what an absolutely wet night we had - just over 6cm rain which is a lot! The roads to the station this morning had numerous very large puddles. Well I did my good deed of the day - someone had left a backpack containing their laptop and other bits on the train. I took it to the office with me to see if I could find the owner and then reunite them and I did - by 9.30am this morning he had it back :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: - yay for the powers of the internet :D I'd have taken it to lost luggage this evening on my way home otherwise, but we've got the weekend coming up and next week train strikes so minimal commuting so figured taking it with me first would be the better choice.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Very wet :roll:

Rain coats to the ready, we're off to M&S in the next hour or so. Looking out the window I think we'll look like a couple of drowned rats by the time we get back home :lol: We would normally postpone it till tomorrow, but I have an appointment, so today it is.

Hope you all have a good day xx

I saw that on BBC Crimewatch last week Ria and it's a brilliant idea. The young lad that had downloaded it only a few days before and because of that he saved his dad's life. :o

I have to say David is sh*t hot on stuff like that. His rucksack is always filled with sensible stuff. :lol:

I wouldn't get really lost in the forest....all paths eventually lead to civilization again. :lol:
It was more the hours I could spend in there if I did take a wrong turning. :lol:

Evidently I didn't as I'm back home. :lol:

I'm always amazed at the amount of people that leave their belongings willy nilly. :lol:
