Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 25°. 8-)

Off for a walk then back to shower etc and going to Carre Four. :D

Lazy and reading this afternoon.

I started 'thinking' about my trip yesterday and have looked out a new toothbrush.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely and sunny now. We had fog earlier. Should be another warm 23C later.

Been awake since 5.00   so took myself to the spare room and have been reading. Lost track of time so when Grumpy came in and told me it was half eight and weren't we going out early this morning, I shot out of bed

Off to the post office in Ourique, to collect our parcel that couldn't be delivered, as the postie didn't bother coming here, then said we weren't at home

Will get a baguette in Aldi and some veg for tonight. Pit stop for coffee on the way back.

A friend is coming up later this afternoon, with some books for me. So we'll have a beer or two here.

Continued thoughts for Jo and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another wet day

Up at silly o'clock, I've got a an appointment for my diabetic blood test. It's not until 11am but I like to give myself plenty of time to shower and have brekkie.

Not much else happening today, a Tesco delivery later this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all :)

Ally I have to do all my packing last minute these days, because it upsets Fraggle  I haven’t put anything together yet for tomorrow, I’ll do it either tonight or in the morning   xx

Hope you get some good books Jan :) xx

Good luck with your appointment Jen xx

Thinking of Jo and family.

It’s grey here again, possibly rain later. Meeting Em in town, as per. Our WW friend Jan is joining us today :) It was lovely to see H and baby E yesterday - baby cuddles, bliss! :D

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s dull here and we’ll probably have rain later. Edward has optimistically headed off to golf - he would have cancelled but his friend was keen. I’m going to the gym in a while and after that, the gym girls are going to an art exhibit being mounted by one of us. Before I go, I have to get on to our phone/internet provider as we are having problems with the Wi-Fi, hopefully they can sort it.

Sending much love to Jo and her family xxx

Shambolic is not the word to use for our port office. Well, not Amelia, but our postie.

He told her that we weren't in, so the parcel was sent back to Castro Verde for the week-end and would be arriving in Ourique about 11.00.

Told her that no one came up at all on Friday, nor did he leave it in the bar, so he probably gave Encalho a swerve, as it's so far out

She'll keep it there for me until Wednesday, as I wasn't going to hang around for a couple of hours, or drive back into Ourique.

Hope the test was okay Jen x

Good morning everybody,

Like Jen, I am going for a blood test tomorrow. I am one of the first at 7.30 a.m. There is an apointment system now and youan pick a time and date
which are free. Going early means the car park at the medical cemter is empty and I will not have long to wait. Back home to have breakfast.
Today I have been to the bank, taken some bedding to one of the charity shops and done some shopping.
Relaxing this afternoon as I have not finished reading Sunday's paper yet.
Have a good day everybody.
