Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 29 Nov 2022, 06:06

Good morning.

Smashing train journey (nerdy Norma  ) down to Nottingham yesterday and beyond lovely to see Craig. :cute:

Today, after ten days of non stop action, I'm having a lazy day.

Late afternoon we're going to Decathlon. Craig does indoor climbing and needs a new harness and a chalk bag so I said I'd buy him them.
I need new cycling shorts. Oh the glamour.

Tonight he's making stir fry for dinner and we're going to watch Withnail and I as after talking last night it transpired neither of us has seen it.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely sunrise this morning. Mist in the valleys and cow bells from the next field

They sounded so close, I got up to mae sure they weren't outside our window  Amazing how sound travels when it's so still and quiet ;)

Going to be one of those days  Went to feed Molly and the bowl slipped out of my hand, so she had breakfast, in front of the fire, eating off the mat

Off to Beja later this morning, for Grumpy's SEF appointment. We're going to go early, in the hope they will fit me in, as mine is next week

Will stop at Lidl on the way back, they sometimes do Christmas cards and then a pit-stop at the bar on our way home.

Leftover pork loin for dinner, so will make another roast type meal.

Have a goodday everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you two and everyone else

Ally, enjoy the lazy day and the shopping and then your evening with Craig
Jan, safe travels to Beja, hope they manage to fit you in as well and that you get what you want at Lidl. Bet Molly enjoyed breakfast by the warm fire :D

Another wfh day for me and I will be tomorrow as well - not going to go anywhere until this cough of mine is a lot better; that's just asking for trouble (ie unnecessary spreading of my germs on the train / in the office) and this close to the Christmas festivities etc I'm sure no one wants to be sick. I found some cold / cough tablets at Sainsbury's yesterday and they seem to be helping so fingers crossed Thursday it'll be loads better ;-)

it's a really dull day here; the sun isn't managing to break through the clouds - feels like it's early morning hours vs mid morning

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here. We are going out shopping, I thought there wasn’t anything I needed, but I realised at the weekend that I needed foundation, the tube was emptier than I thought. I’ve a few other things on the list for Boots too and we want to get a new toaster as the present one either burns or doesn’t toast enough. I might do some ironing when we get back - or I might not

Morning all, it’s a damp and foggy one here this morning and much colder. We’re forecast a high of 6°.

Bill had his walk and we were back in time to see Joe before he left for college at 8.
Not much happening today, just waiting for Amazon to deliver a 12kg bag of Bill’s food.

I’ve had an email first thing about the shutters we ordered for seven windows at the front of the house, we ordered them back in July and they’ve finally been manufactured and have been dispatched today, they’ll possibly be delivered tomorrow - typical that I’ve got a dentist appointment in the morning and with having to travel I’ll be out for most of the morning.

Al, I’ve not seen that either. Have a lovely time with Craig x

Have a good day all :D

Morning all.
Dark and foggy here too. Cold as well.
MrsC has been to Eliza's school for a help out day, where parents or grandparents can go and see what's going on and help.
During the school run this morning a VW golf overtook me going up Church Hill in the foggy dark, no lights on. What an idiot; they didn't even get any advantage, the traffic is always heavy then.
In a while I'm off to get some lamb for tomorrow's stew.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, we've had some rain, think more is promised for later

We didn't get any eggs with our Tesco order yesterday. Need to pop out for fresh veggies so guessing we'll be on an egg hunt too.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Yes Jo, you need some stick to your ribs food in weather like this. It's 3c out there atm, and foggy.

Jen, we get some eggs from the local farm. Over the last few months they have gone up to £1.50 for half a dozen from £1.20, but still cheaper than the supermarket.

Crommers, it’s bin day here and I went outside at 4pm to drag it back in and there was already frost on the lawn. It’s a shock to the system after temps being in the low teens recently.
