Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 04 Dec 2022, 06:01

Good morning.

On the move again. ;)

We've had two fantastic days with Gez and Sharon. :D

Jackie's coming over to pick us up between 11 and 11.30. After a coffee we'll go off with her.
Dropping Don at the airport to check in for his 2.15 flight and then on to Jackie's where I'm staying till Wednesday. 8-)

A few beers early doors then some food of the takeaway variety  and home to hers to watch the England match.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Some blue sky and grey clouds. Chilly but I am resisting putting the heatingon. I keep going up and down the stairs. Will be going out to Asda as the post
office in the store is open on Sunday. Have one envelope containing three cards which will have to be weighed. A normalmsecond class stamp is not enough
Will be going out again tomorrow to get some more cards from a children's hospice charity shop.
Will just be pootling this afternoon.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

A lovely sunny morning, so I have decided today is wash day, rather than tomorrow, when we have rain forecast.

I'll have a wander ariund the garden after breakfast, putting nitrogen around the plants, ready for the rain to soak it in.

Apart from that, footie and a roast dinner, Portuguese style. It's a roll of mince, coated in breadcrumbs, with ham and cheese inside. Sounds revolting, but actually, they're quite good 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good afternoon all.
Like Saundra, showery and cold weather here.
We have Eliza, her parents are having a date night in York tonight. I dropped them at the railway station earlier.
Sunday lunch soon, footy later.
Have a great day all.

Afternoon all :)

Very cold and windy here brrr

We had a lovely day yesterday, it was so nice to have the family here. The meal at The Greyhound was good as usual, everybody seemed very happy with what they chose. Z and co, Hannah and her new man left around 5ish. Grandson David wanted to play cards after they'd gone so that's what we did and a good laugh it was too. I just threw cheese and biccies on the table around 8ish. We didn't actually get to bed until gone 12.

This morning we were all up extra early as as M&M wanted to take us down the The Pavilion for brekkie, very nice it was too. They finally set off home just after 11.30. We're so crocked we're totally cream crackered, E's already fallen asleep in his armchair

Absolutely nothing planned for today, expect I'll end up dozing on the sofa sometime this afternoon. Easy peasy dinner, we're having an M&S cottage pie with peas.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Evening everyone :)

We were out for brunch, then round at D's for a few hours. Becky's friend J has been here with her baby - lots of lovely baby cuddles from her Aunty Karen :D :D :D

Ally, :D :D :D xx

These different sized cards can be a problem, can't they? xx

Hope you got your washing dry Jan xx

Hi Saundra :D xx

Love to all xxx

It was horizontal Kaz   Almost had to get the step ladder to get it down.

Now blowing a real hooley - the wind is so strong, we've had to go onto Portuguese tv to watch the footie. Sadly, that means listening to the Portuguese commentators who mostly talk about the footballers lives, rather than what is going on :x

We've had three hours of really, really heavy rain :Hi: I wanted to go outside and watch, but it's just too dark

Looking forward to going to bed, and then falling asleep, listening to the rain

It’s a late late check in from me!

We’ve fitted all of the seven shutters that were delivered the other day, they look fantastic! They’ve really transformed the rooms.
We’ve also had a couple of hours with my Dad this afternoon, that was me, John, Joe and Bill and then Tom turned up on his way back from Birmingham. Dad and Joe now have a takeaway night once a week. Last Tuesday Joe collected them a bucket of chicken and fries from KFC, this week Joe’s planning on getting something from Slim Chickens which is down at the McArthur Glen outlet
