Morning all.
Grey, foggy and cold here.
Just back from the hospital, having seen the rheum nurse, who seems happy with things.
Dropped MrsC and her sister off to do a bit of shopping in Ponte.
We had thought the roads would be busy as it was a 9.00am appointment, but they were pretty quiet.
Enjoy the panto Cruiser and your curry tonight Ally. We won't be doing too much either Jan, just picking Eliza up from school this afternoon.
Best not forget that!
Have a good day everyone.

Good(?) morning to you all.

It has barely been above freezing since last Thursday, -2 °C now, and does not look to be getting much better till the end of the week. It keeps trying to snow but it just cannot be bothered,

I am off to the tip and then the charity shop, but when I get back in that's me done for the day.

Enjoy whatever it is you are all dong.

merry morning all
Have a fab day and evening Ally - enjoy the dinner
Cruiser; I love a good panto - have fun!!!! Never seen Humpty Dumpty
Enjoy a lazy day Jan; I'm sure you'll find plenty to keep you busy
Crommers you too enjoy your day
Frank, we've had similar weather here; just not getting much above 1 or 2 degrees during the day. Next week it's set to be positively tropical in comparison; with temperatures heading up to 7 or so :D

Well, train strike day and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought. We have a board meeting here today so needed to be in. I got to the station 7.20 and the train that was due to leave at 7.33 was already there so I got on and was able to stay nice and warm and cozy. And then the moment the board is finished I'll tidy up the boardroom and then head home so nice early finish for me.

Would appreciate some VV vibes for a poorly car - Karl and Nadine's brand new car (just three months old) was towed off to the garage yesterday. Apparently they won't be able to start work on it before Friday so we are now very anxious in case it's something major and they need to keep it longer; we're all due to drive to Germany on Thursday next week. My car is too small for five of use and hiring a car for that period of time is going to be absolutely exorbitant as would flying be (besides which we need a car over there) so it's a bit tense at the moment :(

have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Dull and overcast, but no frost.

I love an Indian meal Ally.
Enjoy the panto this evening Cruiser.
We're not doing much either Jan.
Glad the hospital appointment went well Crommers.

We'll be popping out for veggies and fruit before lunch, not going far, just to the small Tesco near Manston.

Hope you all have a good day xx

I really can't see why the garage can't supply a car for then until it is fixed. It's only three months old and obviously under warranty.

Just spent an hour sorting out paperwork. Tidied up the filing system. I always promise myself to put things in the right folder, but normally end up just stuffing it in any old way

We have to go to Beja, to sort out the incorrect stuff on our new cards. Just wish we'd said, oh sod it, let it go. We had to pay by last Friday and didn't, so no other choice

Jan, let's just say that this dealership has not been the best right from day one - I'd never in a million years ever recommend them to anyone.

Apparently Nadine has been given a loan car for three days, so I'm hoping that means they're expecting to complete the repair on Friday. But we will kick up an almighty fuss if they don't get things sorted in time

I hope the car gets sorted Ria. It must be annoying when it is so new.
