Putting a jacket or coat on.

Do you put one arm in, pull it a cross your shoulders behind your back, then put the other arm in and pull it up?

Or, do you hold it in front of you, inside facing forward, then put both arms in and swing it over your head?

Getting someone to hold it behind your back and then dressing you does not count.

I am a 'swing it over' person as I never could get the hang of the other method.

You realise you now have us all reaching for our coats
I tend to put left arm in a bit, then the right arm and then pull up and over my shoulders

(then pull in tummy to try do up the zip)

Never tried the swinging jacket WM

Right arm first, then left and shrug it on, with help from the lapels, sometimes.

Right arm first then put my left in. After too many decades doing this with both jackets and my laptop rucksack my left arm is significantly more flexible than my right.

Right arm, then left arm and then either pull or shrug it onto my shoulders. I’ll give you the definite answer as to whether I shrug or pull tomorrow after I’ve walked Bill :D

My mate does a Mexican Wave version of the swing. Jacket in front, inside out, both arms in then straight out and over. As his arms reach the vertical the jacket just slips down and its done. No decorum and difficult in a small space or crowded room, but it works for him.
