A day for staying in and sorting out the gas water heater. I'm fed up with cool/cold showers Be fine in the summer, not this time of year

Water man coming next week. He would have come today, but the council are repairing our little drive

Rita went to see Marcelo yesterday and he got it sorted out there and then. Marcelo is our very nice young major, whose mum lives just up the track from us.

Rain now nowhere to be seen and we're forecast 18C

Morning all, it’s bright and sunny here but chilly. Back to a normal Thursday - dance practice this morning, then back to collect Kellie from school. Michael messaged me this morning to say that he will be here for dinner too. We love that as we don’t get to see him so often now he is in secondary school. Usual tidying around to do before we go out - need to go a bit earlier as I need to collect stuff from the cleaner, and also put some petrol in the car.

A lovely blue sky. Itis getting warmer. There was ice on the car when i went for the paper. Waiting for a parcel. Got an email to say it is being
delivered by DHL and I will have to sign for it.
Then just tidying up.

Bright and sunny, but very cold brrr

We're off to M&S this morning, shouldn't take long, we don't need a lot. I've already popped a casserole in the slow cooker so plan to be extremely lazy for the rest of the day.

Late late late check in today!

I’ve been having a Spring clean and also had to do the Tesco order.

It’s Tom’s birthday, he’s 26, so he and Joe have just gone to pick up a Chinese takeaway. We’re all hungry but couldn’t have it earlier because John’s been on a site visit to Nissan in Sunderland today and didn’t get back until a few minutes ago.

It’s also Bill’s Gotcha Day, it’s 11 years today since he moved in and took over the house

Amanda’s staying tonight, she’s not here yet though as she’s gone to Nottingham with Joe’s friend’s girlfriend to watch/hear a podcast. The other girl lives near here so it’s easier for her to stay, otherwise it’s another hour of driving for her friend.
