Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 22 Feb 2023, 06:47

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 22°. 8-)

We had a fabulous day in Malaga yesterday. Walked 18km in total and had a lovely lunch with Jacob. :cute:

Off for my walk to finish at the hairdresser for 11am.
How quickly these four week appointments come round!

GB Menu and Surgeons on TV tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

The fog is now lifting and the sun is coming out. Cooler for us for the next few days, only 17C today and 7C tonight.

Back into Ourique this morning, to do all sorts of financial stuff and buying cement and paint. Need to put money on both phones too. Yes, Grumpy now has a phone  I've had to write out instructions on how to turn it on/off and answer or make a phone call  It's just a cheapo, same as mine. Not into these iphones and other stuff.

Back to do more washing and maybe a couple of hours in the garden. We'd really like a couple more trees, would love a jacaranda and pepper tree, but not sure how they would be with the frost we get.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

And we don't talk about the footie

Good morning everybody..

I was late arriving for my luncg date yesterday. Got lost in the leafy lanes of Cheshire. But was excued as I had never been to the Pub before. Did some
shopping at Sainsury's on the way home so it was nearly 6.00 p.m when I got into the house.

Going to the bank and another couple of errands this morning. Then somehousework this afternoon.
We have had some rain and there are grey clouds. It is dry at the moment so no need for umbreela.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s bright and sunny here again this morning, but cooler I think. Yesterday was a perfect Spring day, we need more of them! I’m off to the optician this morning for her to check my eyes after the gel detachment, she’ll be putting in drops - she said I will be able to drive after about half an hour so Edward is coming with me and we’ll have a cuppa and a wander around the shops. I’d like to get some new towels and I’ll also leave in a pair of his trousers to be taken up - he bought them in the sales after Christmas and I finally admitted that I don’t do a great job, they are good trousers so will look better when properly taken up. Home after that to do not very much, I didn’t sleep too well so a relaxing afternoon is needed.

A successful if slightly expensive morning

Popped into Aldi, as they had curry sauces, bought six   and other stuff, including some lovely bulbs for the garden.

Shower head from Marco and ordered a hose for the shower, post office, then Finances for the car tax, then the paint and cement. And then petrol

Will go down the bar this afternoon, as the recycling has been emptied and we're full up here. More coffee and water for me then ;)

Bit cloudy, but warm now 8-)

Afternoon all, the sun’s shining after a dull and rainy start.

No plans for today apart from watching more Sopranos tonight, I’m going to be lost when I get to the end.

Tom’s in Berlin until Saturday, looks like he’s having a good time! Can’t believe though that for just three full days he took a HUGE suitcase and a large holdall  IMO awaiting for a suitcase at the airport is a waste of holiday time so it’s carry on bags all the way

Have a good day all :)

Good afternoon.
Grey and a bit chilly here. We have been out for a paper and to fill the car with petrol.
We were going to have a look at an historic church near here this afternoon, but our daughter has rung up asking me to do some printing for her, so I don't know if we'll manage it this afternoon.
I've been watching Scotland Yard on Talking Pictures TV, a series from the 1950's.
It's like a different world, a bit like a piece of history but it is interesting.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all :)

Ally, that was a good walk! :) xx

Jan, well done for updating Grumpy ;) xx

Glad you got there in the end, Cruiser 8-) xx

Hope the eye appointment went ok, Osc xxx

Pretty yucky weather here too, Vic xx

Afternoon Jen xx

Tom sounds like me, Jo   xx

Crommers I saw a clip on FB, from That's Life in 1979, where Esther was interviewing some children. That looked like a different world too, although by then I was married with a baby :? xx

As mentioned it's not brilliant weather here today. Went into town to meet J for a cuppa then met Mick up at D's for lunch. Got home about half an hour ago. Mick's trying to now the lawn, weather permitting, and I've just prepped some chicken and veg for dinner later.

Love to all xxx
