Good morning Ally and everyone - happy Friday

6 degrees and dull, dreary and drizzly here Ally - me thinks you win!   Enjoy your lazy day and the beer and tapas this evening x

Another work from home day for me; Fridays are usually very quiet so fingers crossed today is no different. I have a 9am vet appointment and then a 2pm nail appointment. This evening Nadine and I are going to some promotional evening to support a friend of hers. It's a skin care range that's really nice but hideously expensive so we just going to make up numbers ;)

Karl hopefully will get a bit more done in the bathroom today; it's taking far longer than I anticipated which I shouldn't be surprised about because that's just how Karl is LOL  He's so precise and pedantic - I know the end result will be totally worth it and everything will be 100% perfect - but it can be annoying at times when he gets annoyed by something that is 2mm out and spends ages fixing it :D

Have a wonderful day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Sunny and not so cold this morning. No wind, which helps and a pleasant 23C for us.

Watering done and I will head down to the veg plot again later. Grumpy needs to get on the drive and garden to do the strimming. Not a hope would I have left it this late to do it.

I completely understand Ria, but proper workmen want it perfect. Grumpy is the same   No point doing something and then look back at it later and see a problem.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s bright here but still winter cold. We had a good day in Wicklow yesterday - Michael enjoyed his golf and played well. Kellie and I had some rare Granny and Kellie time when we went into Wicklow town and pottered around, she wanted to buy a birthday present and card for a friend whose party she is going to today. She has her own Revolut card and was well able to tap to pay! I also (with her guidance) bought a present for one of my grand nephews whose birthday is next week. She is such an engaging companion, full of chat. I bought a pair of cropped trousers which she approved, but neither of us liked the tee shirt I tried on with them. Our drive home took longer than we had hoped, there was a crash on the motorway so we rerouted through town - I never drive in the city but the sat nav guided me through and Michael was home in plenty of time to get ready for the disco!

He and Edward are playing golf this morning, we’ll collect him and leave them both to the golf club. I have an appointment with the dental hygienist at 11.30 and will come home to do not very much for the rest of the day. No dancing tonight as our hosts are away judging at a competition in England.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Busy day for us, it's the 6mthly turn of the mattress which weighs a ton. Should be done at the end of this month, but don't want to leave it till next weekend, we'll be too busy packing. Also expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later this afternoon so what with that and the washing I'll be cream crackered by the end of the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon everybody.

Like Meriad has said, dull cloudy and drizling. Have been for a pedicure. The lady also trims my eyebrows. She showed me a photo of her
daughter who is 22. She is going to Ladies day at Aintree.
On the way there i got petrol. Filled the tank. Had to pay just under £50.00. On the way home I have been to Tesco.
When I have had lunch will go and have my hair cut.

Meriad, when I was having the new kitchen fitted, the tiler was very precise. He spenta long time cutting tiles especially round
the elctrical sockets. But it has been worth it.

Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon everyone :)

Out early to my SW meeting, then into the Quays with Mick for brunch. Round to D's for the afternoon, she did decide to proceed with the new well-known shower, it's being fitted early next month. I'm relieved as it will be much safer for her.

Love to all :) xx
