Good morning.

Sunny and hot. 8-)

I didn't get the chance to post yesterday. I went to Alora for the day horse riding. It was fabulous. :cute:

I'll have a swim this morning then Conor's coming over to take us out for lunch. :D

Masterchef tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Sorry I missed your birthday Jen. I hope you had a lovely day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We have fog this morning  so feeling chilly. 27C later though 8-)

Cooking head on this morning. We have guests later, so need to get as much prep done as I can. Doing three courses too  Dessert already done and the starters I can half do and the main can be cooked and re-heated, just the veg to be done at the time.

A bit of a whizz round with the vacuum and clean the bathrooms too. Grumpy will clean up outside. He has instructions to remember to clean the underside of the table, as no doubt there are a lot of spiders web underneath

Hope you're not too sore today Ally ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Up at silly o'clock again, this time it's a hospital appointment at 11am. Another pre-assessment for my ankle op. Not sure why they are doing it again, I was told the list was 9-12mths which means Oct at the earliest. Tbh I doubt it will be that soon with all the strikes etc.

We'll pop into Westwood Cross on the way back, don't need much, just a few bits.

Hope you all have a good day xx

good morning all.
A sunny morning but a sneaky chilly breeze. I have managed to catch cold, I was frozen daft in bed last night.
Good luck with the appointment Jen.
Just getting ready to drop mrsC and her sis off in town. They are going to have a catch up with their half cousin Angela.
Have a good day all.

good morning everyone

Glad you enjoyed the horse riding Ally - sounds like fun. Enjoy the lunch with Conor x
Jan have a fab time with your guests; hope Grumpy manages to evict all the spiders otherwise you may end up like Little Miss Muffet and be frightened away
Cruiser, good luck with the lawnmower - have fun!

Jen, good luck to you with the appointment - is a bit odd to have a pre-assessment now for a potential op in October; who knows maybe it'll be sooner than that?
Kaz and Crommers, enjoy your respective days

Well same as Cruiser a nippy start to the day with icy windscreens, but lovely and sunny now. Another day in the office for me - four days this week; I'm exhausted  Just hoping I don't have to come in tomorrow as well; but will only know later today.

have a fab day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s beautifully sunny here but with a cold breeze. However, I have a line full of washing blowing in the breeze, I do love when I can start putting washing out again. Edward is delighted with himself this morning, he ordered dance shoes online which can be risky but they were cheap. A friend had already got some from the site and is the same size as Edward so he knew what size to order. They came quite quickly considering they came from China, fit well and he is very pleased with them. We have no dance practice this morning but are going out shortly to buy a new mop for cleaning the windows - he did them the other day and came back into the house to empty out the water leaving the mop leaning again the wall - when he went back out someone had nicked it   Kellie will be here this afternoon and Michael is also coming for his dinner. Nail painting tonight.

Afternoon all, just a quick check in while I do the ages of order.

This cold has really knocked me for six, feel like I’m starting to get over it now though. Just annoying cough more than anything.

We’re also mid-shutter-fit. The ones we’d ordered for the windows at the back and side of the house arrived yesterday. They were out for delivery on Tuesday and never arrived, went back out for delivery yesterday and I had to go out in the morning so the driver was informed not to deliver between 10 and 12. Our security camera showed him delivering at 11. He left them in the back garden, throwing them down and he even gave a few boxes a kick for good measure (despite there being “fragile - handle with care” stickers on them) and then signed my name, only found that out later when I was emailed the proof of delivery. The shutter company have refunded the £50 delivery charge.
Anyway, we did two last night so we’ll see how many more we can do tonight.
