Morning Ally, morning everyone

Mist slowly going and it's going to be a sunny and rainless day 8-)

So we'll have a bbq later :Hi:

I've been waking up at 5.00 every morning, normally to let the cat out, but she was a dirty stop out last night - only just came in - but I still woke up at 5.00

Some gentle pootling today, I''m getting so bored. As much as I love reading, there is a limit.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally & JanB

Have been for the paper, had my breakfast- a bowl of cereal, and then been for petrol. At the petrol station an employee waws picking up rubbish. He had a large
plastic bag which was nearly full. Yet there are bins at each petrol pump stand.
Am now going to have a drink of tea.

It is cloudy but warm . The sun is trying to come out. Will wash the car later. Got two new windscreen wipers yesterday. First time I have had to change them.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

That sounds nice Ally, is it still really hot? xx

Jan, I've been waking very early too - some blooming pigeons are trying to nest under our solar panels! There really isn't room, but they keep on (noisily) trying! :cute:  xx

Cruiser, people can be so ignorant  xx

It's another sunny start here, although showers are forecast later :? No matter, the bedding I put in earlier is going out on the line anyway and hope for the best :) Out for breakfast in a bit, then round to D's. Leftover minted new potatoes and salad from yesterday for dinner later, with tomato and mozzarella quiche. I need to soak the gel polish off of my nails later, then replace it - I save a fortune now, doing them myself :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

It's forecast for 28 Kaz. We hit 32 yesterday.

Rain is due for a lot of Europe next week but looks like we're escaping it.

Silly pigeons Kaz.

Ah hot then, but not mad hot 8-) :D

Mick tried to get the hosepipe on them the other afternoon, but I talked him out of trying - we have a three-storey house  :P :cute:

Air rifle Kaz - works for Joaquinha

We seem to miss the really heavy rain that everywhere else has been getting. It rained for about 15 minutes yesterday, yet the news was full of all the floods elsewhere

We'll reach the giddy height of 23C later

Oh, and Benfica winning the league

Morning all, it’s another sunny one.

Bill had an early walk to avoid the heat, got back just before John left for a bike ride. Football this afternoon for me and Joe, we’re planning on leaving just after lunch but I’ll keep an eye on the Highways app to see how the M6 is running, in case it’s not running. Last league game of the season, roll on August!

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, some sun but mostly cloudy and there is a very chilly east wind. We were out earlier as Edward wanted to scrub down the window ledge on our big window which was covered in green algae - it’s pretty high up so I was required to hold the ladder. After that we went for a walk down around the harbour. Just finished breakfast, and no plan for the day. Edward is going to put some paint on the bits of the bathroom ceiling he missed yesterday. No doubt there is sport for him to watch later on, I have reading/knitting/jigsaw to occupy me once I have done the usual tidying around.
