Morning Ally, morning everyone

Clouds rapidly disappearing and we will be warmer again today 8-)

Into Ourique this morning, both supermarkets and need to pay Nelson for the last lot of stuff he brought up.

Pit stop at the bar on the way home, gentle pootling this afternoon and then might pop back to the bar for a couple of beers after my hard work. Medicine for my blisters

Hope Kaz feels better today x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, another lovely day but not yesterday’s cloudless sky. Edward got up just after 7am to do some painting outside before people started walking up and down - it’s much easier to get up early when the days are bright! I have a hair appointment this morning, can’t wait to get it done, it’s seven weeks since the last time as the hairdresser was on holiday and I look like I have lockdown hair! Edward will get his cut this afternoon. I have some ironing to do later and my sister said she might call in. I need to pop to the post office to take out some money so will do that before going to the hairdresser.

hello and good morning

Ally enjoy the walk
Jan hope you get everything done that you want to - definitely deserve those beers later x
Osc, totally agree, the lighter mornings are lovely (as are the longer evenings) You remind me; I need to contact my hairdresser to see if she can fit me in.

In the office today. Meant to be a train strike but my rail operator for some reason has been really good and whenever it has been a strike day they've put on enough trains to enable people to get from A to B. Today my line has a normal service so all good. Meeting up with friends after work which will be nice - leaving early so we can have a drink before dinner and then also not too late home for me.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :D

Dry and a tad windy.

Flight home was okay, I'm not as keen on night flights, probably because I rarely manage to sleep. We got home here around 12noon yesterday, was absolutely shattered by the time I'd unpacked etc. My ankle was absolutely singing after that so meant to have a couple of painkillers with a cup of coffee and put my leg up for a while before getting the big computer turned on.

Best laid plans and all that but was just beginning to feel a bit more human and was then bombarded by phone calls from the hospital for me and the RNOH for E. Honestly it's like waiting ages for a bus, then 2 come along together!! Neither hospital bothered to read the notes giving our holiday dates, E's was scheduled for 9th June, apparently they did ring the landline, but no e-mail or text messages. He still needs a CT scan not to mention his pre op assessment. After speaking to his surgeons secretary he's rescheduled for 7th or 14th July. Mine was scheduled for a couple of weeks time, but their protocol says it can't happen for 6 weeks post long haul flights, was then given 17th July. but we can't both be in hospital at the same time. Waiting for a call back today to rearrange mine so Ed has time to recuperate from his. He'll need 6/8 weeks recovery before he'll be able to look after me. Makes sense to get him done first as I've been warned I won't be able to fully weight bear on that foot for around 3 months and full recovery could take up to a year.

Talk about back to normal with a bump lol Anyway, we had a lovely holiday, really missed waking up to the hot sunshine. Quite a bit of washing to do, apart from that having a lazy day, will make do with food out of the freezer and think about shopping tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, we’ve had a change with the weather today. It’s dull, cooler and drizzly at times.

Had a lovely long walk with Bill first thing.
We were up and out earlier than usual as John had to leave at 5.30 to drive to Luton for a site visit. He’s all over the place this week, yesterday he had a site visit in Liverpool. Pretty standard for this time of year though as the Summer is their crazy busy period so they’re gearing up towards that.

Tom’s been on his travels too, it’s half term this week and he was in Cardiff on Monday and London yesterday  He’s home today though. He’s in work tomorrow holding a GCSE revision session.

Haven’t seen Joe since Monday. He and Amanda are house and dog sitting for one of her neighbours until tomorrow.

Osc, I’ve grown my hair a bit since the start of the year. I’m fed up of paying £25 for a 10-15 minute hair cut.

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

Enjoy, Ally :D xx

Thanks Jan, I do feel quite a bit better :) xx

I do enjoy the lighter mornings Osc xx

Glad your trains are normal Ria 8-) :) xx

Jen, why don't these people talk to each other? :cute: Glad you've managed to reschedule. Nice to have you back xx

Oh Saundra! I am so very sorry to have missed your birthday! :( Many, many happy returns for yesterday xxx

Same weather here today, Jo  Safe travels to all three of your men :D xx

Well I feel much better today, must have been a 48hr thing :cute: I managed my weekly sortie into town to meet J for a cuppa. I had 5 minutes in the sunbed afterwards, as my psoriasis is playing up - probably as I've not been well. Up to D's after that, we've not been home long.

Love to all xxx
