Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 23 Jun 2023, 05:58

Good morning.

Oven hot! 8-)

I'll have an early swim then start to think about packing for Sunday. I won't pack though. I'll just think about it.

Our San Juan feria started on Wednesday and it looks great so we'll take a wander down at 7 this evening before meeting up for Friday beers and tapas. :D

The schools finish today until September. You can feel the madness in the air.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody elsewho is up.

Had over two hours in the sun yesterday afternoon. Have got a lovely tan. This morning there are grey clouds and it is cooler. Only 20C. Going to Chorley. There is
a good ironmongers there. Will have the items i want. Will sell you one or two. Not like B & Q where you have to buy a packet of ten even though you only want one.

Will have lunch at a cafe. They make their own hotpot. Delicious. There is also a resh fish stall which is always busy.

Ally, the Feria sounds great.

Have a good day everybody

Morning everyone

Rather warm already 8-)

Done all the outside stuff, will now stay inside or in the pool. It will be too hot to do anything at all outside, even in the shade. Maybe reading, but that's about it

We have Marches Populares on in Ourique tonight. Starts at 9.30 and the costumes and dances are just brilliant. We used to watch the litle (and I mean teeny tots) doing the marches in Fuzeta - at midnight  Well, cooler then ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull here, cooler and there seems to have been rain overnight. There is rain forecast for later this morning and you can guarantee it will be as we step out of the car to go into the community centre for today’s dancing demo  I have a new dress (M&S in the sale but still…) and Edward got a nice shirt in Next the other day which I need to iron. We’ll come home afterwards and take things easy until our normal Friday night dancing this evening. Need to tidy around and get some makeup on.

Ally, when we were in Valencia the other week, it was a feast day and there was a parade from the cathedral, I was telling Edward about the ferias you see.

hello and happy Friday everyone

Ally and Jan, enjoy your days by the pool and the festivities this evening - sound huge fun
Cruiser; have a lovely day in Chorley
Osc, have a blast at the dance, and fingers crossed no rain!

Working from home today - but it's a very quiet day so managing to do a lot of pootling in between, very much needed to get things ready for the holiday next week. Seriously so much to prep I always wonder if it's worth going away

the weather is a mixed bag today; mainly a thin layer of clouds, but no rain

have a lovely day all x

Afternoon all :)

Absolutely exhausted after three days of travelling and shenanigans, but I was up early to go to the SW :cute: It wasn't good news   Our friends bought Fraggle home, then we nipped to Sainsbury's and then round to see D. Got some washing done, and out on the line.

Love to all :) xx
