No, I was in a local shop and saw one of those dairy toffee bars popular decades ago.... I just could not resist. Hard and very chewy.

Once I had broken off a bit and it had softened up I was ready for a good old chew when my tongue got in the way!

I have a lump on the right side of my tongue next to the molars.

Warm soup and cold drinks have been the order of the day. I might try scrambled eggs for breakfast.
