A couple more scams have come to light recently.

One was when a lady was sent a new Santander card. Which she thought was unusual, as her old one hadn't run out. So she contacted Santander who told her that they hadn't sent a card. Had she activated the card it wouldn't have been good.

The other was a lady on our local fb page who put up a "Has anybody seen my cat?" post, complete with a phone number. She was contacted by a man claiming to be from the RSPCA, who told her that her cat was at a Wakefield vets and had been treated for an injury. This cost £229.99 and could he have her credit card details please?

Fortunately she knew he was lying, as the cat had come home just before the phone call. It was a mean trick though, when someone is worried about a missing pet, to try and scam them.

I have had a phone call today. I don'tknow if it was abour a cruise or a driveway. i just put the phone down.

Didn'trecognisethe voice and didn't understand what they were talking about.
Not hadany other scams.
Am getting a lot of junk mail on one of my email acounts. Am thinking of changing it and using a new one.
Don't get anything on the other one.
