Yeah I got that. Also some bus rides are longer and not all a straight hop.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I'd happily go by bus but I'd still have to get to London Victoria from where I am and as you say Suff, it just is so much longer. Which usually wouldn't be an issue, but as said - the overtime restrictions mean that trains won't run as late as usual (in the past I think my line had last train around 6 or 7pm). All rather annoying.

I know there is an overtime ban on between the end of July and the 5th of August, but how many cancellations that will mean is not clear. I'm happy to go along with what others think, as my ticket is insured.

Ticket insured as well, but it doesn't really help.

Journey to Brum should be OK as it is at peak time. However, the journey back is outside peak meaning it might not run.... that might also apply to Kaz, Cruiser and Ria. That will probably not be notified till the day.

I am at a bit of a loss tbh. A night at the Prem or Briar Rose and return the next day?

Well, it seems we have two options:

1) We cross our fingers and hope for the best next Tuesday, or
2) We postpone until later in the year, perhaps November when Ally is back in the country and hopefully the industrial action is over.
