Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 29 Jul 2023, 05:22

Good morning.

I've had nine days of non stop madness  so today I'm having a day of rest.

Will catch up on the last two episodes of Sewing Bee on iPlayer and generally act sloth like on the sofa.

Craig's cooking us steak with all the trimmings tonight and we're going to watch The Long Good Friday. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but cool at the moment. The heat will ramp up soon.

More hole digging this morning. Very pleased with how that part of the garden is now looking. Just need more gravel

General pootling, swim and then down to the bar to meet friends this afternoon.

Think we'll be having salad for a change tonight. I cooked pasta last night and was glowing, so will give cooking a miss for a few weeks yet.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Good idea to recharge today Ally :D Enjoy the rest xx

Hopefully you can you get gravel delivered Jan - will we get pics when it's finished? :D xx

The usual Saturday here although we are meeting with Em and D at Corretto's for breakfast - or Portivo's if it rains. Hopefully it won't as the sun's out at the moment, but it's clouding over.....

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Of course

No point just having gravel delivered, we'll order the stones for the turning circle at the same time. But the car port is more important at the moment. And can only do a couple of hours work, before it gets too hot

Morning all, sun and cloud here. I’ll be going to yoga at 11am, but before that I need to go out to get some milk as Tesco rather inexplicably listed it as unavailable with our order yesterday and didn’t substitute :? I might do some ironing - or I might not. I will definitely continue to work on my jigsaw, why is the last bit always the hardest.

Good morning.
Clouds and sun this morning.
In a while we will be off to Whitby. Enjoy putting your feet up Ally and brunch Kaz.
Steady away with the work Jan, don't overdo things. That's odd about the milk Osc.
We have a ton of stuff to load up into the car so I'd best make a move.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Rain first thing, nice and sunny now, but there are a lot of clouds lurking :?

Crommers have fun in Whitby.

We both had a better night thank goodness, I don't do well without enough sleep. Only towels to wash today so plan to take it nice and easy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning everybody.

Lots of blue sky with some fluffy clouds. Ally, I enjoy watching the Sewing Bee. Some very interesting and beautiful designs.
Have been to the bank and some shopping.
Next door played SBs again this morning. They have two vehicle which they park on the tarmac area which was originally the front garden.
He has a large van like a Ford Transit which is reversed towards tihe garage. Her vehicle, now a Range Rover is parked near the dividing fence.
This morning, after I had been for the paper, the Range Rover had ben driven down onto the road and reversed so that it was only a few inches from my
front bumper. Stayed like that till it was driven away at soeed just before 9.00 a.m.
THey are the only inconsiderate parkers in the small crescent.
Rant over.

Will just be pootling for the rest of the day
Have a good day everybody.
