Good morning.

After a walk I'm going to relax for the day. :D

Plenty here to keep me amused.

Roast chicken for dinner and more Narcos binging. :D

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Sunny but still blowy

Off to get more wood this morning and other related things like brackets.

Will water all my new babies before we go, got things spouting up already  :Hi: Trees and tomatoes, in case you're interested.

Washing out and I'll do more when we get back. Ewith this wind, it will soon dry. No doubt I'll be getting the step ladder out, to get it on/off the line

Salad for dinner.

Mitchell on his way to Beja for rather urgent scans this morning, so worrying for him.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning everyone - hope you all had a good weekend.

Ally, enjoy the relax day - not many of those for you
Jan, fingers crossed for Mitch - what a worry :( Hope you get all the bits and bobs you need today
Cruiser, same here - rain overnight and more to come.
Kaz, totally agree re July - what a miserable month it's been. Enjoy meeting up with Em and getting the bits for D

Work from home for me today so the usual mix of work and pootle; nothing exciting to report.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s grey after a bright start. We had a fair bit of rain in the latter part of yesterday afternoon and through the night and there’s a repeat of that forecast for today. I can’t remember muddy dog walks through the Summer before.

Tom’s on his way to Berlin today, he’s getting a train from New St to Stansted in the next hour. He’s having a few days in Berlin before moving onto Poland, he’s getting a train to Krakow later in the week and flies back from there on Sunday.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s grey and drizzly here. Edward wrapped himself up and set out to walk to the golf club, he’ll enjoy the walk anyway. Just general h/worky stuff for me. Miss Osc is up from Wicklow working in her office today and said she would pop in for a chat at some stage. I’ll do some yoga and clean our bathroom, plus try to make some decisions about clothes to take away on holiday and see if any need washing. Edward picked out his jackets yesterday - we are going with Cunard which is a bit more formal. No doubt I’ll do more of my jigsaw, the aim is to have it finished before we go away and I’m nearly there!

Morning all :D

Dry at the moment, but rain's forecast for most of the day.

Not a lot planned, will phone the surgery to find out what's happening about Ed's blood test and check the district nurse will be here tomorrow to take his stitches out.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hope you've managed to sort things out Jen xx

Got the wood, so Grumpy a happy man. We have Heldar coming up sometime this week, to discuss digging out the bank. Can be done by hand, with a jack hammer, but much easier with a digger.

Bit of a worry re Mitch. He's lost a lot of weight this year, never eats a lot, even with us nagging him. But his drinking is the main concern. He fell out of a tree the other week (he's 79) and then fell over getting out of the bath and lay there for an hour, thinking "this is it. They'll find me in a weeks time, dead" Daft bugger  He's Irish, for those who don't know and has a wicked sense of humour.

He managed to get to see his favourite doctor on Wednesday and he wanted the scans done, front and back, to see what the problem is. Or are, no doubt.

Wind picked up, so the step ladder will be out, to get the washing in
