Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 14 Aug 2023, 06:43

Morning everyone

Lovely outside, cool in the shade, warm in the sun 8-)

Grumpy continuing with the car port and I have washing out - which is in his way, but until we can come up with another place for the washing line, he'll have to get on with it

Car came back yesterday, so we'll be going to Castro Verde this afternoon to get him a new pair of reading glasses.

Be rude not to stop at the bar on our way past

Safe journey to Ally x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning you two and everyone else - can't believe it's the start of another week! Seriously where is the time going?

Safe travels Ally!
Jan, good luck with the reading glasses and definitely would be rude to not stop off at the bar on your way home
Cruiser, enjoy your day

I'm heading into the office later this morning - trains after 9.30am are £6 cheaper than the earlier peak hour ones so on days that I can do so, I log in earlier at home and then go into the office that bit later. It all adds up in the long run.

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning all, it’s pouring down so no walk yet.

Not much happening today but once Joe’s home and ready we’ll be setting off for Manchester for the first game of the season. First one’s usually a disappointment but so glad it’s all back regardless and it’ll be go to see the people we sit by and catch up.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Ed's hand is still swollen, but it's looking a little better and it's not as sore as it was yesterday. I massaged it with some voltarol gel last night and again this morning, seems to have helped. He will have to rest it for a couple more days so no walking outside with his crutches just yet.

Not much for me to do, got towels in the washing machine and expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon, but that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
We have been to see the washing machine repair man to try and get MrsC's Uncle Jim sorted out, also our son's washer has a broken door so that one as well.
Raining here too, quite heavy at times.
Safe travels to Ally and I'm glad E's hand is a little bit better.
Have a nice day all.

It's been sunshine and showers here today, but it's sunny now and blowy, so my washing is out :) Went into town this morning to meet Em, and get a few bits. Been home about an hour now and relaxing.

Well, it was a lovely drive to Castro Verde, only to find the optician was on holiday - not what we were told when I rang  and the receptionist was not pleasant.

So that's them losing our business.

We'll wait until we have to go down to the Algarve, which we'll have to do a lot, once I have my next eye done.

Stopped at the bar and after 10 minutes waiting to get served, came home

Not the first time

~I0m actually cooking tonight, it's much cooler for the next few days 8-)
