Have to laugh.

Schools reopened today and in Malaga Centro there are loads of colegio kids gathered in big groups chatting away.

They ease them in gently on their first day back.

3 hours.

I mean they need it poor things...they've only been on holiday since June 20th.

Dentist was a waste of two hours and four bus journeys. I had a call just before 9 to say my dentist had called in sick so did I want to rebook with her for October or see another today. I hate going and have to mentally prepare myself so was as ready as I could be for today so opted to see another.
It was for an extraction and as there’s still a sign of infection he wouldn’t take the tooth out, which is strange seeing as my dentist extracted the one next to it two weeks ago when the abscess was far worse than now.

Back in two weeks for another go.

Afternoon everyone :)

Out early to my meeting, then into the Quays with Mick for brunch. Round to D's after that. It's her birthday tomorrow, and we asked her where she'd like to go for lunch, so a table's been booked for lunch tomorrow at Greek On The Docks! :D We've been a couple of times and the food is excellent 8-)

Just come in now after sitting outside in the front garden.
In the warm late afternoon sunshine and the scent of my wife's flowers all around, I just had the thought that what a wonderful moment it was.

We often sit outside, looking out over rolling hills, funny clouds, lots of trees and feel so happy that we found this place.

So the same as you Crommers, very thankful xx

Slight change of plan.

I needed one more lot of drops, post cataract, which the chemist had to order, which I did on Wednesday. Would be there that afternoon, but afternoon is anything up till 7.00pm  So we went this afternoon.

As the sun was out - supposed to be wet :? we did all the recycling, the bins had, at last, been emptied, got petrol, got my eye drops and pit stopped at the bar, hoping that the bods who were there yesterday, weren't there today.

Thankfully not, although they were such good fun (doing all the new nasty ginormous electric thingies) and wouldn't let us buy a drink  but Mitchell turned up, so we were able to check up on him. He'll tell you he's fine, but when you look at him and see what he's like, you know he's not, not really.

His son in law is arriving for a very quick visit next week, and he will buck him up and he's such a lovely lad (well, 60 is laddish to me  )

Drove up the drive, thinking, what a bluddy job job we've (me   ) done. Just need to put some decent plants in now, where we can.
