Good morning.

Forecast looks fantastic for the foreseeable which is great as we're off to Granada this morning. 8-)

Getting the bus into Malaga Centro where the train station is right next door to the terminal. :cute:

We can leave our rucksacks at the hotel then go for breakfast.
A few hours exploring before going back to check in and shower etc for this evening's recce.

I love traveling and adore a train journey so I'm looking forward to what this long weekend has to offer.
Cheers boys! :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Now cloudy and we're due wet stuff from this evening and for the next 10 days  A lot cooler too.

Have fun Ally :Hi: :Hi:

Have had a wander down the drive this morning, to have a chat with Jose Felipe, who is working on our nice neighbours house, to let him know that we're away for a few days next week and if he wants to put the sheep on the land, the gate will be locked. This is to stop the nosy person next door from having a wander around our property, which he's done before when we've been away

Watered the new plants and the washing machine is on, hopefully will dry before the rain gets here.

Cleaning to be done this morning, amazing how quickly it comes around

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a very wet one here.

I’ve been shocking at checking in lately. I have all the best intentions and then get sidetracked.

I’ve been doing a lot of crochet. I love crocheting but there’s only so much you can make for your own use so I’m involved with a charity which provides crocheted and knitted items for various causes. The most recent project we’ve been working on is to provide blankets of various sizes for babies and children in hospital over Christmas, in a green, red and white colour scheme, and the deadline for posting is next week so that’s kept me busy!

Just waiting for the Tesco delivery and Joe’s got DHL delivering too. He’s working from home today but will be in his room with his work laptop. He started his new job on Monday and has enjoyed his first week. He’s even been picked up and driven there and back yesterday and Wednesday as one of the site guys lives in Telford so comes this way if he needs to go into the office. Yesterday was a team building exercise - a pub lunch in Warwick.

Just editing to add that if any of you want a good film to watch, either in the cinema or no doubt on a streaming service in a few months, look out for The Great Escaper, the new Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson film. We saw it the other night and it is wonderful! And not ridiculously long like a lot of films.

Have a good weekend away Al!

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it rained overnight but has stopped for the time being. Edward is going to play golf, I’ll give him a lift to the golf club on the way to my mobility class. My brother is coming back from Majorca today, he might stay the night and might not - he’ll see how quickly he can get to the railway station from the airport and then decide whether or not to get the train home. We usually go dancing on a Friday evening but will have to wait and see.

Good morning from a grey and wet West Yorkshire.
We have just been bombarded with phone calls from MrsC's uncle's carers. They turned up and couldn't get in the house. Eventually it turns out that he's gone to the Doctor's. He didn't tell them, or us.
Just waiting in for the Rington's tea man then we're off to do the weekend shop.
Have a good day everyone, stay dry!

Morning all :D

Rain overnight and more promised today

Usual washing and bed change day for me. Expecting a Sainsbury's delivery later this afternoon. Also got some orders arriving, Amazon, Lakeland and ebay, more than enough to keep me busy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :) xx

Happy travels Al :D xx

That’s the trouble with cleaning Jan :cute: xx

Jo, that’s such a nice thing to be doing :) xx

Osc, so glad that Edward is back to good health now :D xx

Oh Crommers, what a worry xx

Same forecast here Jen xx

We’re out having lunch. Early start at SW, some good news there finally   Had a cuppa and chat at Emma’s after the meeting, her mum is still hanging on, bless her.

Not the Friday we’d planned as our shutters were due to be fitted today, but the poor fitter is in Southmead Hospital in Bristol after having a serious stroke yesterday! Poor man, he’s only 45 and has three young children so hopefully he will make a full recovery!

Round to D’s in a while.

Love to all xxx

Good afternoon everybody.

It was misty when i went for the paper at 7.00a.m. After a quick breakfast i went to Boundary Mill. Slow moving traffic on the M6 and M65 with poor visibility
due to the mist. It was raining hard at Boundary Mill. Did some shopping, including a new king size cotton sheet for £13.00, a new frying pan.

Had coffee and a scone with a lady who we met when we used to go dancing. Stayed longer than I intended as other people she knew came and chatted.
But an enjoyable day out.

Now relaxing.
Have a good day everybody.
