Ooooh, just heard that Michael won the Junior Captain’s prize in the club where he plays here. That is in addition to being top junior of the year in the club where he plays in Wicklow. Proud Granny here!

We seem to be inundated with flying ants and crickets

Until the last few days Jan, we've been inundated with little white flies; but I think the cold snap seems to have seen them off.

Watched the first two episodes of the new series of Frasier on Saturday.
I was nervous about watching as I love the original, but it’s actually pretty good!
