Broken laptop!

Postby Workingman » 08 Nov 2023, 14:27

On Monday afternoon I was doing a good desk clean. So, being lazy, I just moved things around and did it bit by bit. At one point I had to move the laptop from its cooling stand to get to all the USB wires and things behind it so I put my reading glasses on the keyboard and shut the lid....

When I had finished and opened the laptop up again the screen had a lovely image of my glasses embedded into it - one screen kaput! I have a spare so no big problem.

Just got the fast one back and am £140 lighter in my wallet.

Will I ever learn to do things properly and NOT us the 'lazy man's load' system? Probably not.
