Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely sunny morning

Ironing for me this morning and also carrot and coriander soup making. I bought some carrots from the mobile van outside the bar the other day, asked for half a kilo and got a kilo

Then I'm heading down to the field for an hour or so, pulling up the estevas and other stuff.

Meeting friends down at the bar later and curry for dinner.

It's raining here, but we're off to an Alternative Christmas Market at Gloucester Prison The old Prison is down by the Docks and has been turned into a tourist experience - ghost tours (it's reputed to be haunted, and it's built on the site of an old castle so tons of history) and events held there. Emma and I are attending this as our friend Jools from Slimming World has organised it, she's an event planner as well as being a lecturer at Gloucester Uni. The boys don't fancy it, so we're leaving them in Portivo's with a coffee. The Alternative Market has tarot readers, alternative therapy stalls, that kind of thing - might make a change from the interminable tinsel

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here, lots of rain here last night. We are up and about as we are heading into town - I want to get a new pair of dance shoes and we both want a mooch around M&S. We’ll have a light lunch then come home to settle down for Strictly from Blackpool. Just heard from Miss Osc - Michael wants a family meal for his birthday tomorrow so that will be nice. His other granny is in hospital and other grandad is in Thailand, but they won’t even be in the same room together anyway so it will be just us and my sister. Right, better tidy around before we go out.

It is creeping up to 15C this morning. There must have been rain in the night as there are puddles in the road. Still grey clouds so it wont get much warmer here.

Have been to Tesco for some shopping. Now going to have a coffee then do some housework and pootling.

Nearl knocked two pedestrians down when I went for the paper. They were both wearing black, talking to each other and not looking before they started to cross the road.
The street lighting was not good where it happened and it was only when I saw them in my headlights | stopped. That was before 7.00 a.m.

Had a rotten night, up and down every couple of hours. Need to amend the Tesco order for Monday and that's about it. Looking forward to Strictly tonight, not many couples left now, hope we don't lose one of my favourites this week.
