Merry morning Ally and everyone else

Enjoy the walk with Ely - such a fab way to learn a language!

I've been up since 5.30am - just couldn't sleep so figured may as well get up, make myself a cuppa and pootle. Need to call the dentist this morning when they open to see if they have an emergency slot available; I broke a tooth yesterday :( .... and I'd quite like to get it fixed asap, esp as we're heading to Germany on Thursday and I really don't want to go away with a dodgy tooth. So depending on when I can get the appointment I'll either go to the office today or tomorrow; the other day will be wfh for obvious reasons :D

Not sure what the weather has in store for us today; 7am and it's still so dark outside - not overly cold but windy.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning both, morning everyone

Grey and windy here  Not cold, just not nice.

Hope you can get to see the dentist today Ria x

I've put the washing out in the hope that it will at least blow dry

Been awake since 3.00  listening to the wind and one of next doors dogs howling at the wind  Then they let one out at 5.15am, who did her normal barking at whatever she can hear/see, then all went quiet

It's getting a lot colder by the end of the week, so we'd planned on putting fleece around the succulents and fruit trees, but not in this wind  So I might just down to the field for an hour.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

no appointments today - got one tomorrow 11am. Works out a bit better for me to be honest (provided it doesn't get sore) because then I've got tomorrow to sort everything for the cat / chicken sitters before we head off

Morning all :)

Agreeing with Ria, Ally, that’s a fun way to learn :) xx

Ooh ouch, Ria! Very glad you could get an appointment before your travels ((x))

Sorry you couldn’t sleep Jan :( I was awake from 2 until 4, but mercifully got back to sleep after that xx

It’s a grey day here, but not raining - yet!  The usual Tuesday stuff here - out for breakfast then a walk round the dock if it stays dry, followed by lunch with D. I have a pile of ironing that needs attention, so might start on that later.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Good morning everybody.

Going to the dentist for the six monthly check up. I go privately.
Ally, learing English while walking is much better than inn a class room. See if she understands the sentence "I march in March in March."

It is 16c here with sunshine.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, cold here but chilly, but I like that, anything is better than rain. I’m going shopping and meeting a friend for a catch-up. I was expecting a parcel and it just arrived, I do love when companies send stuff in the post as our postman is so reliable. Edward has gone to play golf. Right, I’d better get going >>>>>>>

Mornng all.
Sunny and bright atm.
Steve the decorator is here, we're having the front bedroom painted. He's a nice guy, semi-retired now. Just does the occassional job, and he does a good job.
MrsC is doing some cleaning for our son, later we are having a cottage pie, yum.
That is a good way to learn a language Ally.
Have agood day everyone.

Morning all :D

Drizzling on and off so quite miserable out there.

Reading and relaxing sounds a good plan Ally.
Glad you got an appointment Ria, hope it can be fixed before you go away,
Sorry you had a bad night Jan x
Enjoy brekkie out Kaz.
We could do with Steve the decorator Crommers, most rooms needs coat of fresh paint.

Not a bad night, only got up once and would have slept in longer if the phone hadn't woken us up. Don't know who it was, didn't recognise the number and they hung up before I picked it up. Very annoying, was probably a scam call or someone trying to sell something.

Anyway we're up a bit earlier so Ed's going to pop into town for some cash. We're almost out and he needs it for the papers and sometimes other bits when he goes round to our local shop every morning. It's all a bit of a palaver as I will have to be set up in the bedroom so I can slide from the bed to the commode if needed while he's gone. Honestly I'm already thoroughly fed up being so dependent, goodness knows how people on their own manage, they would be completely bed bound and reliant on carers coming in throughout the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx
