Safe: "For now."

The most used suffix in today's headlines or, somewhere within them, regarding Tuesday's vote.

That's what the media thinks of Sunak's "win" with the Rwanda Bill. They all think it will come back to bite him in the New Year - even the Depress, Fail and Torygraph say so.

Then there is his popularity rating. A new poll shows that 70% of us don't rate him and only 21% do. He's down there with Johnson before he was removed by sensible Tory MPs, but not quite as bad as Truss.

Unfortunately sensible Tory MPs are few and far between these days since the Johnson putsch got rid of them.

We now learn that there might be a by-election in Blackpool South as its MP faces a 35-day suspension form the HoC for breaking lobbying rules. We might also get a budget in February because there are fears that the UK could slip into recession when the figures for March are released. A pre-emptive giveaway?

Some pundits were predicting a GE in May, but that now looks unlikely to happen.

October? Just after conference season is done with. Our promises are better than their promises. ;)
