Huge case of CBA here when it comes to dinner. Turkey crown has just gone into the pressure cooker, will crisp it up in the oven. John and Tom have done the veggies otherwise we’d have been having turkey and stuffing rolls. Gawd, I detest cooking

A dreary, damp day in Dorset, but thankfully it's reasonably mild.

The Turkey Crown's in the oven and we'll probably be eating around 2:00 pm. Then the King at 3:00 followed by Midsomer Murders .....

Hope you can get rid of that chest infection, Vic.

Happy Christmas to you all

We slept in this morning and had a late brekkie so we won't be having dinner until late afternoon/early evening. I've been able to help Ed get it prepped, he's done the veg and I've sort the pigs, it's only us two so we don't need much. Everything's ready to pop in the oven.

Had a lovely phone call from my sister last night, it was already Christmas over there. She's just getting back the use of her hand, still quite sore, but definitely on the mend. Her surgeon says it will take about 6mths before her shoulder's completely healed. It was so lovely to speak to her. Zoe and the boys rang this morning, they're having a good noisy day. We don't see them till this Friday, but we'll still do the pressies round the tree etc. Looking forward to seeing them all.
