Thanks all :)

She landed at Changi about an hour ago, and will board for Sydney in around an hour’s time :) I looked the airport up, it does look amazing!!

Ally, Jan, I do wish we could send you some rain, the Severn is very VERY full here :o

Kaz, isn't this when you get the Severn Bore?

I seem to remember the river flooding quite a lot.

Morning all, normal service has resumed weather-wise as it’s raining.

John and Joe are due back from Wales any minute, we’ll have a sandwich and then me and Joe are off to Nottingham for an away game. First one for us in ages, away tickets are like gold dust and we always apply in the ballots but haven’t had any luck until this one. Probably be a wasted journey

Kaz, so glad that Becky is now on her way! What a stressful few days you’ve all had xx

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon all :)

Dull, overcast and cold brrrr

Glad Becky's well on her way Kaz, what a palaver for her. BA's reputation has gone downhill rapidly this last couple of years. We used them for our Barbados trip in May as we'd accumulated so many airmiles and using them made the fare a real bargain. Must admit I was worried if everything would go smoothly, especially as I'd booked assistance, but we were lucky and it all went smoothly. We would think carefully about booking with them in the future, too many horror stories. We much prefer Virgin.

We had a lovely day with the boys yesterday, it always fun when we have them here. Ed was a star again and managed to get everything on the table on time. Very little of anything left, they're like locusts

We'd just sat down to rest after they left and the doorbell went. It was our niehgbours Jan and Dave, we didn't see them the week before Christmas as they were really poorly. A few hours (beers) later we finally got to collapse. Altogether a lovely day.

No surprise we had a good sleep in this morning, we've only just finished brekkie  Ed's doing a couple of washes, but that's it. No plans for the rest of the day, think it will be omelettes for dinner, nothing too strenuous.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
I'm glad B is on the move now Kaz, hope everything goes smoothly for her from now on.
Grey and raining here too. Three men in a 4x4 were swept away by the River Esk in North Yorkshire when they tried to cross at a ford. Rivers all over the country must be high now.
We have been for a paper and I won £30 on the Lotto. :D
Every little bit helps.
We really enjoyed going to Steve and Nicola's last night, had a really good laugh with them.
Have a good day everyone, stay dry!

Thanks everyone :)

She’s on the second leg now, Sydney in about 6 hours :)

Jen I would definitely never use them after this, am glad your experience was ok.

She’ll be there now!!! How exciting!! My nephew has this evening landed in Dubai where, on Tuesday, he’ll start his new job teaching Science there.
